i was reading about Shanny's firing on a Ravens forum and a poster there hit the nail on the head. his opinion, as a non-Broncos fan, was that since Elway retired 10 years ago, no team has ever really feared playing the Broncos in a game that mattered (playoffs, etc.). even in Denver! that in a nutshell is why Shanny had to go.
