With him being able to opt out of his contract and STILL GET PAID.....I dont see any reason he wouldn't.......
He would make for a interesting GM, Andcould shore up the Defense in a hurry!

If I only wanted a GM for one season maybe. He's the only guy that changes his mind more often than Shanahan.

So you are happy with a Schottenheimer then with that logic?
Parcells hasn't done a thing since 97 and that year he got beat down by guess who? Mike Shanahan.
Belichick and Parcells both called Shanahan the best gameplanner in football. That is all you need to know.

other than divisions, playoff games, made it to a few afc champ games, and even a super bowl.
I dont know about you, but making it to a super bowl and losing, is better than not making the playoffs year after year.

So he didnt make the playoffs (barely) because San Diego, after years of 3-13 and 4-12, finally had amassed enough draft picks to be good for a few seasons.
This was the rebuild. Look at the offense, it is going to be amazing, all because of Shanahan. He deserved a shot to focus on the defense.
Any team would have lost after the Elway retirement, Davis and McCaffrey injuries, Sharpe defection. 05/06 was a last gasp run with fill-ins and retreads, and an admirable one at that. Losing to Peyton (Hall of Fame Super Bowl QB) Manning and the Colts was nothing to be ashamed of.
The rebuild has been on for 2 years. Since then, we have acquired star after star on offense. Shanahan is to be commended, and this was a huge error.
Parcells and Shanahan are on the same playing field. amateurs who cannot see the big picture, such as yourself, do not realize this. Apparently Bowlen has lost his mind as well.

What has Mike Shanahan won in the past 10 years?
Fixed it for you.

That's funny, I sure do see a lot of "lost in the ***** game" in the right hand column. This is all about winning championships, right?
Here is the Parcells secret: He takes over a team with good draft position and lots of cap space. He has a decent eye for talent and signs the high priced FA's. The team is good enough to win for a few years, maybe a playoff win or two. Then it's back to mediocrity. (See Jets, Dallas)
His New England run was decent and he set up Belichick, but that was over 10 years ago, and again, he won zero.

So shanny only did good with offense is what your saying.....exactly my point.
As for parcells and shanny being on the same playing field.........again my point........you say shanny is God, parcells is equal, but it would be bad to bring parcells in now that shanny is gone.........go smoke some more crack with Boyd.

The same exact mount of trophies that Parcells has. Thus, clamoring for Parcells is absurd, when you already have(had) a Parcells.

Nope, that is not my point whatsoever. You are just another reactionary, spoiled fan who wants everything now and does not understand the difficulty of winning consistently with the same team in the salary cap era. this is the reason Parcells jumps from team to team before they sink. This is also the reason people like you fail to realize how good Denver has had it for the past 14 seasons.
