I wonder if Bowlen will sound like he did during Zim's HOF induction. What an embarassment. I wish he would sell the team.

Your a moron. Bowlen has been one of the best owner's in pro sports for a long time.
This was a very, very difficult decision for him to make.

I'd say it took him 3 full years without playoffs, a continuously declining defense, millions of dollars wasted on non productive Free agents, the worst defensive performance since the early 60's by any Bronco defense, and the outright refusal of his head coach to make defensive coaching changes during a 5 minute conversation, to make his mind up.
The man has the patience of jove!

Sell the team? Are you nuts. I'd rather he had a few too many to drink than be the embarrassment that some teams have for owners. Al Davis? Ford? The guys who own the Cardinals? The Dolphins owner who always goes on a fire sale with his players after they achieve anything? I want Pat to live forever. He's got patience and loyalty, almost to a fault.

Wow you really don't know your ass from a hole in the wall. Its not the end of the world stop treating it as such. The move was made a lot of us don't agree but nothing we can do. If he picks a **** coach like Cowher then don't go to games hurt him in the pocket book. Other than that root for the team and like it.

Sounds like Jim Goodman will be the GM.
I didn't get that.

To me it sounds like:
I was bored, and its been a long time, so he had to go.
Bowlen better have a plan and sound smarter than he is talking.
Now all you Shanny-boys get your towels out and start crying.

People keep getting their panties in a twist over him saying "I haven't thought about that yet".
Guys, he isn't going to say, "I am going for ..."
Chill.
Exactly. Everyone relax.
Basically the presser came dowwn to "mike is gone" "It was tough"

As far as I'm concerned, Shanahan had us on the path to another Superbowl run. Bowlen just didn't have the guts to stick with the rebuild.

Hey, i'm glad the Shanny era is over but he's been a part of all of our lives for a long time. I will be emotional watching him talk as he leaves. He did good for us guys, give him the respect he deserves.

I dont get why people think the offense will derail because shanahan is gone? Is he taking the players with him? No. In fact, if Bates stays on, how much will really even change. Friggin relax. We needed new blood. I think Shanny can have success elsewhere, but it ran its course here.

Tough to say but true.
Show me a better young offensive core in the league. We have every resource now ready to go to defense. Shanahan had this team on course.
Bowlen is gutless.
Jay has alot to learn about winning game. Stats are for fantasy teams.
Need to find a running game, need to look at center and left guard of the future.
Defense and special teams are a mess.
Shanny put all the eggs in one bag. He should of had balance on both sides.

Bowlen said it best "Winning is everything"

I feel good knowing this is nothing personal. All business as it should be.
It's also comforting to hear Shanny admit he wasn't getting the job done on both sides of the ball. Regret is a bitch and I don't think either of these guys will have any. As Pat said a dozen or more times "It was time". Our record reflected that.
