Billick = no
Schottenheimer = no
Jimmy Johnson = no

What about Jim Fassel?
I would rather get raped by a chainsaw then get Schottenheimer or Schottenheimer Junior (Fassel)

This.
Though there was a Calhoun thread, and he was an NFL coordinator last year, so that could be fair game.
College Coaches, all of em.
i think Friedgen might be a good choice, but i'm a Maryland alum so i'd like to see him stay with the Terps.

With Mangini fired, Callahan should be very available.

What about Marriucci?
The guy who ran a good 49ers team into the ground, then did absolutely nothing with Detroit? No thanks.

honestly, Id like Marty in here. So long as he has absolutely no say in the offensive playcalling
while we're at it, let's just say NO to denny green. i'm actually opposed to all coaches who came out of the 49ers system. i want to see some smash mouth football on defense, not this finesse nonsense we've been living with here for years now.

forget elway as gm. No NFL personnel experience. Great players rarely make great gm's or coaches.

Why not parcells? Don't you want another super bowl?

If we keep Jim Goodman as Assistant GM/Personnel, then Elway would be an excellent face of the franchise type GM ... more of a team President-type exec. He might lure the right kind of coaches and free agent players. Plus then Pat could spend more time drinking.

When was the last time a Parcellic coached or managed team made the superbowl or won it???

That needed to be said.
