I was somewhat reluctant to make a thread during this whole mess, but I was curious to what you guys thought. I also realize its somewhat hard to speculate while there is no head coach currently employed, but are our days of "plug and play" at running back over?
Does our offense have a chance of remaining as potent as it was this year?

This is my biggest concern here too. we have very specific players for our style of offense - and a style I have enjoyed watching for the past 14 years.
I hope that Pat can find someone who will keep our offensive system intact - or it is going to be a long couple of years rebuilding.

If you think about it 3 players on the line which are the young ones are big boys and I think they can adapt to a new blocking scheme. Cutler is basically suitable for any offense and the WR's and TE's will be fine.
This team isn't like it was 3-4 years ago on offense, they can actually pass protect without running bootlegs all day long.
Maybe this will force us to get a dominant RB and stop plugging in so so talent, as well.
