From 104.5 The Zone with Frank Wychek.
He said two things Denver needs to do.
1. Hire Greg Williams as Defensive Coach
2. Sign Albert Hanyesworth even if it costs 40 Million Dollars!

I am glad that Nashville radio wants to get rid of Haynesworth to the Broncos, that shows how much they care about the Titans.

Just about everyone in this town wished that Cutler was drafted by the Titans. Vince threw for 55 yards and was benched yesterday because of bad play. (because they rested Collins).
The problem is the Titans will not pay much for anyone.
When these two were to get a new contract.
Eddie George - Nope
Steve McNair - Nope
They know that the Titans will not pay big for Big Al.
Denver needs Big Al in a big way!! We need to pay up and get him!

Greg Williams has done nothing but fail in the last few season. But I agree with the 2nd part. Throw 50 million at Big Albert if need be.

Its nice other folks have a clue where our Defense should go cause I think Shanahan still thinks we are fine. I bet if you had a heart to heart talk with him he'd tell you how close we are to success.

So your saying if a Vanderbilt player that does well in the NFL on another team then the Titans, you will root for that team over the Titans? Because you are mad that the Titans didnt draft the Vandy player?
I like the support of Vanderbilt in Nashville. I am a Colorado Buffs fan and if a Buffalo player was drafted by another franchise, I most likely would not root for that team. I would still stick with the Broncos.

When the Titans passed on Jay all loyalty to the Titans were over.
You have to understand this. I have known Jay since he was a freshman here at Vandy. He is my friend. Of course I am going to support the team Jay is on.
I talked with Jay before the draft and I asked him where he thinks we was going and he thought the Titans because they worked him our four times.
Fisher wanted Cutler. Adams the owner trumped Fisher and wanted Young.

That is great dedication. I respect it. My friend from Colorado University, Mason Crosby, kicks for the Green Bay Packers, and I now dont like the Packers after going to that Monday night game last year. We should have won that one. I wanted Denver to Draft Mason so bad, and we passed on him 6 times, and now Matt Prater is missing extra points. Who knows, we could have one a couple more games with Mason.
I do root for him though to do well, and was mad that his kick was blocked by the bears last week on MNF. I also draft him on my Fantasy team, even if it means losing my League.

The Broncos only lose blowouts. Missed Broncos field goals have not factored into any losses since Mason was draftable.

Good point, but you cant argue the value of a good kicker. Indy signed a great kicker Adam Vinatari, and they won the SB the first year he was on the team. Also, all three pats SB's came down to field goals, so Prater has to go.

They didn't win the SB because of Adam V. In fact, he missed potential game winners in games against NE and SD with them.
And since joining the Broncos, Prater has never missed a potential game winning or game tie-ing pressure kick in the 4th quarter, so who's to say he has to go if that is your sole criteria?

Young was only going play a couple of quarters and then they wanted Simms to finally get some time. True VY didn't play well but he was not benched.
TN is currently in talks with Haynesworth's agent to get a deal done before their first playoff game.

MCL strain. He should be back for their 1st. playoff game. That would give him almost 4 weeks. He said he could have played yesterday if the game meant anything.

I guess I cant convince you the value of a good kicker. Its demoralizing when your team drives down for a game winning kick and then Mike Vanderjact boots it.
Why do you think Ray Finkle had to go to a mental institute? (ace ventura)

I dont think haynesworth can cover wide recievers well. Our D coordinator would have to have some scheme changes.

I understand the value, but I'm also not going to over-estimate how often a game actually comes down to a game-winning kick that only one or two guys can make.
Vanderjadt was the perfect example. Prior to that infamous "choke game" he had in the playoffs, he was the most accurate kicker in the history of the league and had a history of making clutch kicks. There was absolutely no possible way to predict that that was going to happen to him.
It's the nature of the position. A great kicker today can be the worst in the league tomorrow. You just don't know. So, you can invest all the time and money you want in the position, but there's just no way to tell if a guy like Mason Crosby or Rob Bironas will be top kickers next season just because they may have been good this season or last.

You would be amazed how much easier it is to cover wideouts when the QB doesn't have all day to throw and the running game isn't eating a defense alive. Our corners are NOT the problem...everything else is.

All true, but seriously...what the heck happened to Prater's leg. He went from kicking it through the endzone to barely getting it to the 10 yard line.

I find that troubling as well. It could've been attributed to the weather, until yesterday. I'm as baffled as anyone.
