Are we a lock for the 12th pick? and if we are Looking on the positive side do you guys think this gives us at least a shot to go after Taylor Mays or Rey Maualuga?

I say we go the route of building Indy 2.0 and draft a game changer at saftey.

Is the strength of schedule component of the draft order based solely on the regular season? If so, then shouldn't we be locked at 12?

I see the Broncos Drafting one of these 7 guys in no order. 1. Chis Wells 2 Ray Maualuga 3. James Laurinitis 4 Brandon Spikes. 5. Taylor Mays 6. Michael Johnson. 7,Knowshon Moreno.

aaron curry would have to be the number one target on draft day until he's off the board. wouldn't mind dealing up for him, he's a monster

please don't take a running back with our first pick. I think Hillis can hold that spot down for us next year he is perfect for our system and I think a Hillis & Torain backfield would be pretty mean. Although after this year i guess you can never get enough depth.

Take wells in first round.Trust me. I live in ohio and have watched him play his whole career. He is a motherfing beast!! one cut runner, just what we need! Time to get a franchise back.

What is this hard-on that everyone gets this time of year for taking a RB in the first round? I mean seriously, it's like the Broncos haven't consistnaly been one of the top rushing teams the last 10 years.

We have far too many questions on (D), in a draft lined up with d-line and LB talent to ever think about doing this.

if we take a RB in the first I might cut my wrists

sadly, I can see it happening though, why stop the ****ing trend now

If they have a RB rated to go higher than 12 and he's available, you take him.

Yes. The Broncos will pick at #12 no matter what happens from here on out.

I think Rey would be great. He would be a great improvement over the guys who we now have catching all the RBs five yards downfield that the Dline allows through. Who knows? Maybe Rey could catch them at four yards? Or even better, let's get a Safety who can back up the LBs in case they can't catch the RB the Dline let's through.

There is no established trend for taking a RB in round one.

I think we should take the best athelete on the board, regardless of position for round 1.

nope, I was implying blowing our wad on offense

and to the "best player" argument, look at the Willaims/Bush debate...given that choice Denver would be crazy not to take a top defensive player

Rey-Rey would bring back the Al Wilson mentality to our D... Brown from FSU would also be sweet...

I think we should take the player of greatest impact and least bust potential. And if Wells falls to us, we should take him and not look back.

I agree, a game changing athletic safety that can hit and has coverage skills to help out Bailey and Bly would greatly improve the secondary.

Think about how much an improved secondary could help the pass rush, if the secondary could actually cause "COVERAGE SACKS". Thats the impact of having an Ed Reed type Free Safety.

Taylor Mays brings this type of capability.

It's amazing that team hasn't done shyt all these years with all the picks they have had i also enjoyed this:

As the only playoff team in this group, San Diego must pick last.
