The price you pay--along with aging really fast. Still, even if you expect it, this does have to suck, completely losing the ability to go out in public alone ever. Especially with your young children.
And he does have a point--Is there a need to photograph every second of every time he goes out in public? Yes, it's the nature of the beast, and many politicians and celebrities before him have had to deal with it, but that doesn't make it "right."
As president he shouldn't waste too much time complaining about this, obviously, but I think we all would like to see (in all cases) greater maturity and restraint from the media/paparazzi.

I could see Obama not wanting to be President for 8 yrs. If he already is starting to not like it, wait until the media isn't in love with him or he has some struggles.
If he thinks his family suffering I could see him walk away after one term. He really seems to put family first and he may get sick of being President.
