One of the better bowls airing on ESPN right now.

Keep an eye out for #98 Jerry Hughes. Undersized speed rusher creates a lot of havoc.

Go Frogs! Now that's a team who knows how to play defense.

I don't know, that S for Boise St(Johnston, I believe) is having a really great game...he is making the Bronocos D look great!

Yeah, that is why I posted it under a college football thread. Boise St intrigue me, as Clady has been unbelievable this year!!

Boise St. vs. Oklahoma Fiesta Bowl 2007 was one of the best college games ever.

TCU should have won by more.

Shot themselves in the foot with TOs and penalties.

Clearly BSU was overrated and the WAC is a fraud conference that is hyped by ESPN.

LOL. But Boise should have been in the BCSNC game.

BSU missed some chances as well with the holding penalty and a missed fieldgoal.

BSU is a very young team that will only get better in the next few years. I don't think many fans thought their season would go so well.

They may be a little overrated but they still only lost by one point.

And yes the WAC is a terrible conference. I don't think anyone would disagree. I really hope BSU joins the mt west sometime soon.

Probably a long shot, but I'd love to see them join the Pac-10. Are they big enough and could they consistently recruit well enough to compete with SC, Oregon, Cal, UCLA, etc? Not sure, but over the last decade they've been more impressive than all but a couple of those programs.

Mt. West might be a more reasonable step up, though.

yep, there have been alot of rumors floating around about this. The biggest gripe in Boise is the tv contract. BSU is on espn 3-4 times a year currently

I agree with this. They are obviously too big for their conference.

Let's hope it's not an omen. The (Boise State) Broncos lose on the Chargers' home field...:dunk:

Nope will never happen. Pac-10 is pretty big on research and academics. Right now BSU is nowhere near close to the academic standards of any PAC-10 school. I'd say Cal Poly would be a nice candidate for the PAC-10, but I don't think the Pac-10 will expand anytime soon...

Mountain West is more logical for BSU, with better travel and better chance for a Rivalry with BYU, Utah, CSU, Wyoming etc.

Rumor has it on the street that the Mountain West school Presidents will convene sometime at the end of spring/early Summer to officially invite BSU to the MWC. Some fans of BSU has reported that some BYU officials have alerted BSU officials of the Mountain West Conference intentions...and BSU is likely to accept the invite. Then the WAC will probably replace BSU with Cal-Poly.

It's all speculation and rumors at this point.
