If he could play RB I'd care. He doesn't. Thus this thread is stupid.

I would take Royal over hixon without thinking twice. The point remains, that Hixon just could not get his act together here.

He also was never really given a chance. But that aside, there's no room for him here

Complete BS....he was given a chance. He wasn't the same after the injury....

Good for Hixon, I wish him the best.

If we kept him, though, we may not have taken Royal (whom I think is much better).

He was? Half a season as a kick returner?

I watched that game last night and was thinking there's another prime example of the bonehead decisions of our Head Coach for life

P.S. the offensive Genius

the 1st part of the 2006 season, sure...

In the history of you watching broncos football, has the 4th receiver EVER done anything?

one whole year after he was drafted....Eddie and Brandon both showed what they could do in practice....when did Hixon?

He was on IR the first year. He had a good camp, which got everyone here crazy (thats where it started)..then had half a year to perform. You are tough to please.

Who would you like him over? He's not a slot guy, so think he'd play over brandon and eddie? Youre just arguing for the sake of arguing now.

If he'd stayed, he would have easily broken off 2K in our system.

oubronco and Denver724, shut the **** up... what the **** are you thinking bringing Hixon into the conversation for? We'd probably never have drafted Eddie Royal if he wasn't here.

Royal is going to be an elite receiver. He runs routes like a vet and has amazing hands. Take a look at this seasons stats for both players and remember that Royal is a rookie.

he is an average player....if he was really a threat, the Giants wouldn't be looking to add WR....

He was terrible here, for whatever reason he was totally tentative and soft at returning kicked, he looked like he was pissing down his leg as soft as he hit the hole.

We made at mistake but at the time I agreed with the decision to release him.
