Denver saw its three-game road winning streak come to an end last week with a 30-10 loss to NFC South-leading Carolina. The Broncos scored on their first two possessions of the game before the Panthers pulled away, breaking a 10-10 first-quarter tie by scoring the game’s final 20 points en route to improving to 11-3 on the season.

Similar to last week, the Broncos enter Week 16 with the ability to clinch their division with a win or tie or a San Diego loss or tie in its game at Tampa Bay, which kicks off at 11 a.m. MST on Sunday. Denver’s focus, however, remains solely on a Buffalo squad that is coming off a 31-27 loss to the New York Jets. The Bills, who started the season with a 4-0 record and were 5-1 after their first six games, feature one of the NFL’s top special-teams units along with a defense that ranks among the league’s top 10 in both third down and red zone efficiency.

Winners of their last five games against the Bills, the Broncos enter Sunday’s game with a 6-0 record when posting an even or positive turnover ratio this season. Denver joins Arizona (7-0) and Indianapolis (8-0) as one of three clubs in the league with a perfect record when not losing the turnover battle.

The Broncos’ roster is one of the youngest in the league and includes an NFL-high six rookies who have appeared in all 14 games. A total of 12 rookies (8 draft picks, 4 college free agents) have combined to play in 135 games for the club this year, including 50 starts at 10 different positions.

Rookie left tackle Ryan Clady, a 14-game starter who has given up only half a sack, and rookie wide receiver Eddie Royal, who ranks sixth in the league in combined yards (1,623), have been key parts of a Broncos offense that ranks second in the NFL in yards per game (385.4). Quarterback Jay Cutler leads the AFC with 3,851 passing yards and is just 239 yards away from setting a Broncos single-season passing record.

“All Ready”- Darrent Williams

"This has never happened to me, it's something I've never had to deal with, But there are guys who have it worse than me. . . . I just have to take it a day at a time." – Champ Bailey

"You'd like to have more, but do I have an answer? No, This is Year 17 in the NFL for me, and it kind of goes in cycles. Some years, it seems like you get a whole bunch. And, of course, if you've got a great rush and teams are throwing the ball a whole bunch, you've got more opportunities. Fumbles seem like they come in bunches. But I don't know why. If I did, we'd be doing better with it"–Bob Slowik

"There's no choice but to get prepared,You've got to get prepared every week, but there's a little more emphasis this week because you don't know what's going to happen." –Lichtensteiger

"I've felt a lot better the last few weeks,I still feel like I can get it going, make some plays" -Dumervil

"It obviously was a nice award for Brandon, a nice award for Cutler. Very well-deserved for both guys, You take a look at (center Casey) Wiegmann as a first alternate, I thought that was nice. There's always a lot of players out there that have very good seasons, and you're never really sure why someone makes it or doesn't make it. I just know Ryan Clady has had a heck of a year" -Mike Shanahan

Couple years ago we went in there with a better team than now and barely won in the home opener. This one's in December...tough place to play in the cold. We will have to run the ball effectively to win and I don't see any 1000 yard backs on this roster. Jay will have to be spot on and we need a major game out of Marshall and another one from Scheffler. On defense this bunch better figure out how to stop Lynch. If you saw him against the Jets it was downright scary. I want to predict a win but with the injury news to Clady I'm not sure we can move the ball well enough.

I'd be nice to taste the playoffs, but honestly, with no running game and no defense and cold.

Hopefully Tampa does our work for us, 'cause they'll be waitng for us in week 17.

with those stats, if we only score 27 i am going to be pissed off.

although i am curious if Jay can take down the TD and Yardage record this week, or if the TD marks lives another week.

Yes, Denver is a tough place to play in the cold. ;) What we have to do is to protect the ball. If the team starts making mental mistakes and turning over the ball, then it will be a long day. However... they're also totally capable of winning this one by a blowout if they bring their "A" game.... it all depends on which one... Jekyll or Hyde... shows up.

Denver Broncos
Left tackle Ryan Clady (ankle) and guard Chris Kuper (hand) might be able to play against Buffalo. Clady made a lot of progress on his sore ankle and gave Mike Shanahan hope that he would play. Kuper did enough that he is almost a definite to play. There is even some hope that cornerback Champ Bailey could be active. He's in better shape this week than he was last week when he tried to win over the trainers during pregame warm-ups. He's questionable with a groin injury. Wide receiver Brandon Stokley will play despite a foot problem. Linebacker Spencer Larsen is questionable with a groin injury and is the iffiest of the group. Safety Vernon Fox is probably going to sit out because of a concussion.

I believe the Bills can....porous defense and a very young team do not make me feel confident about the Broncos. When was the last time they beat a team that should have and did it in convincing fashion? Week 1?

Have not had to stream a game for a long time, tried searching for that thread but would not let me.......I used to use Stoogetv but apparently that is down, what is everyones suggestion?

Would go to a bar but back to back weekends of blizzards and this being the fourth significant snow fall already this year we are snowed in and 40-50 below wind chills I just cant go somewhere to watch game. Getting old with this damn weather, more snow already this year than we typically have all winter so someone throw me a lifeline please.

SD is up 10 in Tampa right now, and frankly, I hope they win. I want the pressure squarely on Denver's shoulders to win a game that they should win at home. If we can't beat Buffalo to clse the door on SD, then we don't deserve to go to the playoffs.

LOL...ya got me. For some reason I just thought this thing was in their yard...sweet that it's not. On the other hand, they've been playing considerably better on the road so maybe it's not so sweet after all. In any case...one thing is sure; we gotta stop Lynch or it's gonne be a long day. I'm watcing the Pats beat up on Arizona in the snow thinking about how bad we usually suck in that stuff.

Shanahan needs to have them well prepared today... a good game plan and good execution and ball protection. If we can do that, we'll walk away with the win. IMHO.

Yeah but we're not going to keep up this pace, forever. Eventually adjustments will be made. Usually when we start out really hot, we hit a big lull and it takes a quarter and a half for us to recover fromt he lull, which is why I'm so pissed that we have already left 8 points on the field.
