My heart says anything can happen once we get in the playoffs but my head says we're done in the 1st round, assuming we make the playoffs(the bills are due for a win) & I doubt we'll sweep the chargers. Does anyone actually believe we'll get past the 1st round?

My heart and head are pretty much saying we'd be doing great to win one game in the playoffs.

No defense.
No running game.
No consistency.
No experience.
No playoff win.
I hope I'm wrong.

If we play the Colts I think they are doomed.

yep, and the simple reason is this;
losing in the first round is what everybody is expecting, therefore it will not happen. This team feeds off of negativity.

The Colts are doomed or the Broncos are doomed?

I kind of want to play the colts. I mean, I don;t really expect us to win a playoff game anyway, but if we could beat the colts somehow, and anything can happen in the playoffs, I think we can make a deep run.

Was just about to say that. Granted I'd rather play Baltimore or an AFC east team, but not sure we make it pass the first round so if we are going to go down then let's go down swinging.
Going toe to toe against Manning and the Colts and beating them would be a huge boost to the morale of the team.

Who knows this team? It'll be entertaining, whatever happens.

The thing with this team is there hasn't been a game, where when we walk out onto the field for the first snap of the game we havn't had a chance at winning. With our offense we have the talent and ability to beat anyone in the league even if our defense plays terrible.
If our offense gets into a rhythm and gets the defense on their heels were almost impossible to stop. Most of our losses can be chalked up to turnovers in key situations where our offense loses its momentum and then seems to become frustrated and lacks patience. Id say if we can hold on to the ball we have a very good chance of winning a game. i dont think were consistent enough to go all the way but were young and streaky so we could get hot and then Who knows...
P.S. our chances were alot better with hillis if young can get back up to his level of play last year we should be fine in the rushing department but hillis and young are perfect compliments wish we could have both of them on the field for the playoffs.

they are on an 8 game winning streak and peaking at the right time I don't know if we want to play them

We can absolutely beat the colts.
We can't beat the Titans or the (most likely) the Steelers. But the Colts we can handle.
This team struggles with big physical teams like the Panthers, Dolphins, and Jaguars. You can push the Broncos around on defense. The Colts aren't that team.

It would be if we would actually commit to the run.

If Cutler gets hot and Champ and the D are healthy, we can beat any team in the league.
Cutler beat the Jets and Falcons on the road when he was hot ... the Colts at home would be beateable too.

i guess since young has been injured and then on top of that fumbled, he got demoted? I think young is the most talented runningback we have right now tatum is soft and pope didn't really show me all that much. Selvin is a slippery runner who is quick and always keeps his legs driving he may not have a whole lot of power but he slips through tackles and can out juke a jack rabbit.

Selvin looked like garbage against Carolina. Pope actually looked like a guy who could find a hole and break a tackle once and a while. Both Bell and Young went outside almost every single run.

Everything being said about young & pope can be said about any RB we've had since Portis.

Maybe Selvin just wasn't "football ready" yet and that's the reason why he sucked in the Carolina game. Here's hoping he's "football ready" this week.

We are what you would call the ultimate "wild card". On any given week we can beat the best team in football or lose to a JV High School squad. The team is so young and inconsistent that it has to worry coaches who face us. They don't know what to expect from us. If we get hot we could make some noise in the playoffs. I would be happy with a playoff win and then try and build a solid D for next year. This team is a healthy RB and a solid D away from becoming Super Bowl contenders.
