I didn't get a chance to see his interception last week. Was it a clean pick? As in, did he make a good play on the ball? Or was it tipped or something?
Thanks.

Nope, was tipped twice. Winborn, then their receiver (Jarrett I think).

It was tipped off a LB (Winborn I believe) then a WR (I think Muhammad, maybe Jarrett) and into Barrett's chest. Possibly the one play where Slowik's having Barrett about 30 yards deep brought about benefit.

I'd give him more credit than it fell into his chest. He made a good play on a very fast moving tipped ball. He did look slow running with the ball though.

Giving his teammates a shot to setup some blocks probably.

I think Barrett's played decent so far for a rookie off the PS. Better than I thought he'd be.

He's made world of strides since camp. Far and away better than Lowry, Rodgers and that piece of garbage Manual. I actually thought McCree was slightly below average which at the time had him as the best of the bunch. I don't have much of an opinion on Fox yet. In general, our safeties have to be the worst unit in the league and we desperately need at least 2 quality players at the position to be brought in this offseason.
I'm not real picky about how Barrett got the pick, I'm just happy to see a DB on our team showing enough heads up play to hang onto the tipped balls that fall towards them. That field awareness is value in and of itself. How many times over the last few years have we seen Ferguson, Abdullah, etc. have balls fall right in front of them only to not even make an attempt or when they do stone hands it into the ground?

It was a good play by Winborn to disrupt the play. But it was also good on Barretts part to have the concentration after the second tip.

Who cares if it was tipped a dozen times? One of our defensive players managed to actually catch a ball. That's a rarity. Kudos to Barrett.

It was a shame our O did not put points on the board after getting the TO.
This team is like -15 this year and must be over 100 points off those TO's.
When we get a TO is so far downfield they cannot drive far enough to get a TD. They just give our average FG kicker a shot from 40 something and hope he makes it.

The real play was made by Winborn. Barrett capitalized on it.
