Pretty funny, I liked it. But this is what I think...If you're getting angry about this stuff, or it's ruining your day, you spend waaaaay too much time on message boards.

Say what you will, but while some people here are getting angry about a stupid post (like WOW! Pretty funny response to it btw) it makes you wonder about them.

Actually, no. I don't wonder about any of you. Ever. Love that we're all Broncos fans but...yeah.

i am a Bronco fan since 1965 and I don't talk back because....
I don't get to see live bronco games or broncos on hdtv and even at bars when I can find the game there is no sound.
I really do enjoy the comments from the guys that talk about what they see going on on the field, I can't see that.
Football is a sport that we all love, some of us have played the game and some of us appreciate the action. To deprecate those that have not said much on your forums or any forums makes the whole system go bad.

There is a difference between quality opinions and things that should just be kept inside the noggin. Even an opinion that might go against the grain but provoke a discussion is always ok (unless it is mattmvp). Atlas isnt an ahole, you just didnt read into well enough. Maybe best you lurk and not speak.

That's the thing that bugs me the most. That last statement. People who think, just because they post alot and have thousands of posts (not always valuable ones at that) that they have the right to tell someone to not voice their opinion (that Atlas is an ashole) and tell them to not talk. That it's better they lurk as if it's a freaking priveledge to be posting on a message board. It's such a joke how serious some people here take this stuff and the 'rules of internet posting'.

When you step out of it, and look at it from an outsiders perspective I think some may realize how pathetic it is at times.

I don't think anyone here is an asshole, mainly because I don't put much thought into it, so don't take this personally directed at you, b/c in all truth, it isn't.

Yeah, some people hang around here all day, respond to everything, and think their opinion matters more. Whatever, the sooner you treat this place as a information source and less as a personal escape, the happier you'll be and the more time you'll have.

there is no policing. When someone expresses their opinion and it comes off as idiotic, then myself or others have the same right to put their opinion on the subject or even the one who posted. If someone comes in and says that Elway was overrated and never should have been a first year HOFer, you bet that guy is going to get shredded in here. If you put your opinion on this little box and actually send it, you might get some feedback positive or negative. If you can handle it (like many do and that is a ok with me), then just lurk. Some of the lurkers have great opinions but might not have the "guts" to post it. They should, but dont want the backlash. They might miss the praises but to all their own.

I get your point, but I don't think only 10% post cuss they don't care. it isn't as black and white as you make it seem to be. I start threads b/c I want to see other people's take on what I have to say. That can be very closely defined to caring, but it's a slight bit off. Anyway, I think you get where I'm coming from. I def get where you are coming from. And I'm sure some people ahave met and are friends, no doubt. And in that case It is different.
