Does anyone know how many snaps Robertson has played? As I understand he has to stay under a certain amount and we don't owe the Jets anything. Anyone know what that number is and if we're safe or not?

If I remember correctly, it was 60%. None of our d-line has come close to that.

65% according to the denver post

I don't know where he's at exactly, but I know he's not even close to that. Aside from the lost snaps due to normal rotation, he missed an entire game early on in the season.

I believe STBumpkin is correct that's it's 60%. If so, I'd think missing the KC game should take care of that.

He did miss the KC game, but there's been a few games where he was out there quite a bit. I hope we keep it low. Maybe if we can beat buffalo we can bench him against the Chargers.

I remember reading somewhere that it is basically a done deal and that we owe them nothing. Sorry, I cannot remember the source or I would post it.

Time for someone to submit it to the Klis mailbag. I'd imagine he would have easy access to the answer.
Strike that....I just submitted it.

For all the heat Shanny and the FO have taken around here, the Robertson move was pure thievery. It was as if we were dealing with the Skins again. WHile our D is still horrible, it is certainly not the DT's that are the problem.

Really? I don't think he's played all that well. I don't think I remember any play he's made this year. I guess 20 tackles and half a sack is good production.

I agree, I was hoping for more out of him too. But sadly he's an improvement over what we had last year. But it's all Slowik's fault. >sarcasm<

DTs in this scheme are not supposed to be "playmakers." They fill gaps, get a few tackles here and there and hopefully draw double teams. From what I've seen, Robertson has done his job more often than not there IMO. He himself admitted it has taken him a little while to get used to this particular 4-3 scheme after playing exclusively at the nose in NY's 3-4 defense.
Let's not forget. This is a guy who managed to get 50 tackles in a down year from that NT position. If he can do that, he can certainly excel here in the 4-3 if given the chance.

Stupid Klis won't answer my question about the whereabouts of Tim Crowder :(

Robertson is an avg player. He can play in our rotation but we need some help for Thomas and Robertson in the form of a huge imposing stud.

Up until this week, it seems like he's answered at least one question each mailbag about him.....I'm sure he gets a lot about him. We can't be the only people to notice his presence on the weekly inactive lists.

After Denver wraps up the division this weekend I'm sure Robertson will be getting plenty of rest. I think he had to play 65% of the snaps. Which I'm sure he is nowhere near that now.
