They trade down with Pittsburgh for a first and second rounder.

I don't like Herzlich as much as some do. He had a great season but he seems real stiff in the hips for me. He reminds me of a Bryce Paup type player.

Some fun picks :) I dunno if Jarvis Green is worth chasing down, and (despite my support for Jarvis Moss, and our massive success with Clady) I don't condone spending 1st rounders on juniors if you're not desperate. But lots of nice picks there, I like Shonn Green in the second, and getting Brace and Gilbert would be great additions. Gawd we need a D line coach to bring guys like that along though.

I dunno. Theres some solid value there. Herzlich could use some fundamentals coaching, and that makes it a kinda dicy pick, considering who else would be there. Good on Greene, spiller, and BRace. All solid picks.
Instead of going after those safeties, i say just spend some dough on OJ Atogwe FS, and leave Barrett at SS. Barrett just needs a supporting cast and he would be a solid SS. Get another safety like Bruton ND or Nic Harris, or Kevin Ellison in the draft, and the safety position just went from horrid, to really good in no time flat.

Green could get about 25 carries a game and Spiller could get about 10 carries with about 6 reception plus return kicks.Both players could average about 6 ypc in the Broncos system plus put alot of pressure on defences .

Taking 2 RB's in the 2nd round is dumb, plain and simple. I don't care about best available. Do we take Sam Bradford if he declares and falls in the 2nd since he'll be best available?
You take the best available to help your team. Taking 2 RB's early does not help us.
Mainly because in your scenario you assume we have no RB worth a damn on the roster. Hillis? Torain? Alridge? Do we just throw them to the curb and welcome in 2 2nd round rookies?
The Spiller pick would be entirely useless. We already have a return man in Royal, and we have a 2nd back in Hillis/Torain.
And saying they would average 6 yards per carry in our system is also an absurd statement. Terrell Davis didn't even average 6 ypc in the system.

In my draft senario I sign a safety in Sean Jones but could be Atogwe and draft Hezrich to play Mike . I also trade for Jarvis Green to play Lde. I see no DT WR or Rde worth taking at this spot. I would think about drafting A Corner because both our corners are over 30. I chose Spiller because I don't have that much faith in Aldridge or Young staying healthy. Maybe 6 ypc is to much ,made it 5.3 YPC. I also feel Spiller would be a great asset as a pass receiver in spead offence.

In all honesty, I'd jump all over Bradford if he fell to round 2. He may never play in Denver, but the going rate for young QBs is pretty high. He could sit and learn for a year behind Cutler, provide an extra layer of insurance, and if he shows anything, can bring a big return.

I kind of like the Spiller/Greene combo but of the two, Id rather have Spiller, especially with the emergence of Hillis. But this is assuming Spiller enters the draft.
