Obviously will change once juniors start declaring, but interesting first look by Mayock.

BTW - Aaron Curry is #1.

Pretty strong statement for Louis Delmas there. I was wondering about him. Mayock doesn't have him too far off from Will Moore.

Hey Spring!

Hey, man - sorry I didn't respond to your thread re: your health. I was out of town and saw it on my handheld, but want you to know that I'm pulling for ya! If it's OK with you, I'll pray for you from time to time! :)

Glad to see your update - and that it is treatable. After all, I need your energy and insights around for good draft info!

You guys would do real well to draft Curry. I expect Peterson will probably do something stupid like draft Tebow, though.

Oh that would make my christmas wish list come true!! L!OL!!

On a side note, i read a pretty cool blog by some guy on how INDY should draft Tebow and then just let him sit until Peyton hangs em up.
The basis for his theory is Tebows mental aspects and his athleticism coupled with learning from Peyton how to throw correctly, and how to read defenses would create a really good QB in Tebow.

That's actually not a terrible idea... I've heard some teams want to turn him into a Cooley.

16 of 20 play defense.... Sounds like a good time to have an ALL defensive draft.

Yeah. The premise is that hes a very intelligent person. Hes a very intelligent football player. But he has horrible throwing mechanics. BUT! hes also a really good all around athlete, so if a team can utilize him correctly, they could have a good player on their hands.
The Blogger basically said if INDY could aquire Tebow in the late 2nd or 3rd round, they could use him sparringly in trick plays or as a Cooley like player here and there. And let him spend a few years learing to throw under Peyton, and when Peyton hangs em up, INDY has a very smart, athletic, playbook-ready QB to take over the reins.

In regards to Tebow....

Not sure if he has the arm to make all the throws in the NFL.

He could be a situational weapon at QB in the Wildcat Formation.

You also probably could not come up with a better QB to run your 2 point conversions.

I could see Tebow being a good H-back/TE/situational QB in the NFL.

Tebow should return to Florida next year and break a bunch of records and be an all-time legend there ala Tyler Hansbrough at North Carolina and then see what happens in the NFL.

This list will change big time once the Jrs declare. Broncos won't have a shot at Curry but he would be a great SSL, that's the kind of player you want at that spot. You need someone strong and able to take on and shed blocks. Does anyone really see Boss Bailey as a SSL. I mean really cmon?

You kidding? If Tebow is a top 5 or even 10 pick he would be a fool to not come out for the draft. It's garuanteed big time money.

Now if a JR is looking at 2nd round then yeah go back to school and try to get into first round. But when your a sure fire number 1 pick you cash in and take the money.

I was hoping he would like Laurinatis more but maybe that means he is in Broncos draft range. He says he lacks explosion but he is a really smart good football player.

The point is....he is not going to be top five or top ten pick.

He will not be a first round pick.

That is why he should return for his senior year.

He is a legend already for sure....but staying all 4 years would make his legacy even stronger.

He is not going to be a first round pick....you can bank on that.

He also seems like the kind of kid that is not ruled by money.

Yea that will be really Stupid given the fact that Tebow will do dilly **** in the NFL.Plus Tyler Thigpen has some Above Average Skills and looks pretty good some times, anyways I give Tebow a 3rd or High 2nd Round Prospect.

Carl's not in charge of the draft.

In a perfect world we trade up for Stafford.

Since we're the Chiefs we'll take a linebacker for Herm's defense in hopes of 9-7 next year.

Not really a fan of giving a linebacker 40 million right off the bat...the position is too dependent.

i may be reading this or interpreting that wrong, but there is not chance in hell Tebow goes top 10 let alone in the 1st. Matt Millen isn't in Detroit anymore and I don't think the Chiefs are that stupid(although if they are, i will rejoice in celebration)
At best Tebow is a late 2nd rounder and might still be available as late as the early 4th. he is a project QB, not a guy who can be counted on to contribute immediately, it will take him at least 2 years before he is capable of playing.

If that's true and I don't know I'm not a draft guru then like the other poster said he should stay in school. I was under the impression he was an early pick.

Herm and Bill K are in charge, seriously.

Carl's probably going to be fired anyway. At worst, kicked upstairs to a Presidential role.

No question he is a beast, its his consistency that keeps him from being rated higher by mayock. That same thing that Clady had coming into the NFL...

After Last years Excellent depth at OT, no one thought that this years could rival it. However, there are some excellent ones coming out according to scouts. Should be a great year to evaluate talent at the senior bowl. I just wish they would let underclassman participate and change the name. Most of them show up to do the agent stuff with teams and do preliminary interviews, might as well let them play if they can not un-declare.

You know, I just started watching tape last night. I have seen every NFL game this year, but have taped all the college games and just started watching. All the NFL are now playing how they will for the rest of the year, so I just started doing some scouting and making a few calls today. First person I talked to said the OT's may be the most deep position this year, but that is just one guys opinion. Unfortunately, no specifics yet as teams have not really looked at the raw stuff either.

Should be fun, I would pay attention to the Mile High Report this year as they have started a scouting group and they seem to know what they are doing.
