This is the toughest test yet for our pro bowl caliber rookie stud OT. Can he hold Peppers without a sack?

i think he has kept every supposedly big time DE and 3-4 OLB off of Jay, and is looking at Peppers as just another guy.
Clady isn't afraid of him, and will keep Jay on his feet

It'll be interesting to see how well Clady plays on Sunday. If he does shut down Peppers, the sky is the limit for Clady.
On the down side, lets hope he doesn't experience the sophmore jinx next season, ala Marcus McNeill of the the Sparklers.

Yes it does , this will be in the trench matchup of the year , if not the decade , I expect Clady to lose though , Peppers just been around longer ... but Clady will have his moments

McNeil has had back issues since College. Clady does not.

Why don't they just fix them and have him be awesome like we did with Harris? Oh right, they suck and are fail.

Nah, I learned a lot tho about thread starting.
Anyways, I see them lining Peppers on Clady to start.
Good test for him with Peppers speed.
Harris worries me a little vs him.

harris has given up as many (or as few) sacks as clady has. lower then every other tackle in the league except the titans fool. why are you worried about that?

I did say a little, I don't think Peppers will own him if that's what your getting at.

theres zero reason to be concerned, his pass blocking has been (without considering help of TEs, which im not 100% sure hes getting because i know clady isnt) as good as cladys.

Mario Williams has about the same measurables, he may give up one sack but will be on lock down after that.

I don't know that Julius is really having a great year, even though he stats might suggest that. Now, I'm not saying that he's a good OR a bad player, I'm just saying that his stats leave me unconvinced:
http://www.nfl.com/players/juliuspeppers/gamelogs?id=PEP422041
http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=Nfl&id=2361
the first five weeks of this season, EVERY team he played against had their backup left tackle in the game (per rotoworld, 10/03). In those 5 games, he accrued 3 sacks.
he padded his stats nicely against Jokeland in week 10, getting 3 sacks against the turnstile combination of Mario Henderson and Kwame Harris. He got another 2 sacks going against whatever crap Detroit rolled out in the following week.
In my mind, he's only got 4.5 quality sacks in the season.
Anyway, I know he's supposed to be a great player. If I had the knowledge to make a definitive evaulation, I would, but since I don't, I can only use the stats to back up my argument that he might be having an overrated season.

So, since we are in America Clady = King Kong.
Now if we were in Japan Clady would be Gojira

Williams was preseason...doesn't count. Pepper's and Abraham have very comparable stats but Peppers is a bigger more physical player.
