Royal is too valuable and it seems to me shanny might have a knack for it.

I bet we grab one in or before the 4th round. Eddie Royal is playing himself off of Special teams.

No, we have one in Eddie Royal. You play your best damn return man back there. Why waste a pick on a return man when we have one, when we could use it on something else.

Eddie Royal in limited action has become the AFC's best (ypr) kick return man. And we have IDIOTS wanting to sideline him.

You'd make a better argument by saying you wanted to draft a receiver early to play the #2 so that Royal could play the slot where he is equally effective.

Look at the Jets and Leon Washington, or the Bears and Devin Hester. They both play key components to their offense along with returning everything.

Hey Morons___ Look at the players we have drafted to Be our Kick Returners in the last 4 years.

D. Williams
D. Hixon
E. Royal

Would you like to have another player of that caliber on next years team. Whether they Line up as a Returner or not.

Think about it. It will come to you.

Too many holes to fill on the team to be getting another KR guy though.

Maybe take a flyer on a late round guy, but we'll have to get lucky to find anyone even approaching Eddie's ability in the return game unless we go early there. We need an entire defense and a HB before we can think about it IMO.

i am sorry, but Royal is turning into one of the most dangerous return men in not only the AFC but the league. He is important to our offense, but he is extremely valuable in our return game, he alone has changed the field position we used to get. we are no starting drives around the 35 instead of the 20, that is the reason we are scoring more this season also.

Unless Chad Jackson or someone already on the roster can beat him out of the job as return man, and do it as well or better than him, we need to keep him there.

also, we have Champ on kick coverage units. If the best player in the NFL at his position can play special teams so can Royal.

Brandon Tate would be a nice pick in the 4 round. He could be the 5 or 6 receiver on the Broncos .

Why risk Royal to injury on special teams and making him less effective as a WR? Draft a KR and allow Royal to concentrate on becoming a better WR.

Royal is doing well on returns, keep him there. There's always the risk of injury and he did get hurt on a return earlier this year, but for now, the reward is greater. He's doing quite well. We've been getting destroyed the field position battle for years until now.

I would'nd mind Brandon Tate at all on Day 2 as Elway777 suggested, however, he tore his ACL that will undoubtedly affect his agility and breakaway speed, at least in the short term.

Ofcourse, this whole problem would have been solved if we didn't show the patience of a two year old child in cutting Hixon in what was essentially his FIRST year of actual playing time. Meanwhile, we kept slugs like Nate Jackson for six years and Jarious Jackson as well. I never understand this team. They don't give a chance to anyone who is on the borderline who has promise, but they keep losers for years and years. Hell, we even let JJ throw in the park after he finally got cut. I still can't believe we cut Hixon. I don't care if he wasnt showing anything because of the thing with Everett. We almost never cut prospects that early anyway. ****ing morons.

he could get injured just as easily on a reception as he could returning a kick

We tried to put Hixon on the Practice Squad. Just Like Jarious Jackson was on. We would have put Nate on it to expcept he prefers IR.
