I wanted to wish everyone here a safe, healthy and Happy Thanksgiving. I have so much to be thankful for (Wife, Kids, Grandkids, Job, etc.). I think sometimes we lose sight of what is really important through our own selfishness (and, on this Board, bickering), and don't count our lucky stars often enough.
So, to all of you, I hope you enjoy your Holiday(hopefully you get time off). Take the time to be with your loved one(s), hug them, and reflect on the blessings you have. If you are alone on this Holiday, go find someone to help-there are so many people in this Country who need help and companionship, and they will appreciate it more than you know.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Bah-Humbug!
Sorry, I thought this was a x-mas thread.
Happy thanksgiving to all my friends on the mane. As the OP said, lend a hand to someone in need and the rewards will be worth the effort. I've picked the Denver rescue mission this year due to the amount of "new homeless" in the Denver area. It's amazing to hear some of the stories of those who have lost their homes. Contrary to "popular belief" not all who seek their services are "lowlifes".

People are struggling to make ends meet and corporate bigwigs are getting a second chance at life. While that's not right, there are certainly things in which to be thankful in this great country. I heard a news story this morning about the continued spread of cholera in Zimbabwe. Things could definitely be worse than anything seen in this country, and I'm grateful for that...

"corporate bigwigs are getting a second chance at life"???
Are we talking about those BigWigs who have millions stashed away from previous bonuses and stock options? Why "in the hell" should they get a second chance?
Sorry, but I do not have any sympathy for those ****ers.

I just said it was wrong for the government to be helping out corporate America while the average person is struggling to pay their bills. That's just the first cliche I could think of...:D

Rocky Ford has great melons.
I played a high school football game there back in the day, and that's pretty much all I remember.
