If you are talking about the blackberry storm then yes, it can replace a computer. Obviously its not as nice to type on as a laptop since it is so much smaller but it can be done. It also comes with word and other office applications and YES, it is a cell phone too.

YOu can also surf the internet on it too. It also records video and takes pictures. There is a lot it does, just takes getting used to typing on the touch screen.

I have one, haven't had a chance to totally play with it yet but it came with a cord that has regular usb on one side and a connection to go into the phone on the other. You can also hook it up to your laptop and use it as a modem for your laptop to get on the internet on the cell network.

I don't know, never owned an iphone. From what i read though the blackberry is more of a corporate phone moving towards selling to more consumers and iphone is a consumer phone moving towards selling to more corporations. I know that didn't help you much, lol.

I like my new blackberry though. my last phone was a $20 POS so this one is like the taj mahal of phones for me. I was able to bring up my fantasy team on espn and watch their scores all day today. This phone is very versatile though and if you are used to a qwerty keyboard you might not like it.

I have an iPhone (the first one) and I really like it, but I am curious about the Storm. The iPhone does have limitations for sure.

The iPhone is an awesome device, but its just that, it feels more like a device than a phone. Namely it feels like a really cool iPod, that you can also use as a phone.

I'm wondering if the Storm is more like a phone, that can also do other things (more than the iPhone really is)

Like Jason said earlier, he really liked the TOUCH, but not the iPhone so much... Maybe the killer situation is to have the STORM and the iPod TOUCH...

Man, I think I love gadgets too much... ;D

It depends if you ate with verizon or not. It is 199 after 50 mail in rebate in most cases.

Yes, $199 if you do a 2-year contract with them. If you wait you should be able to buy an unlocked one soon that you can put on any network.

^^ LMAO

Unlocked ones will be more though, not sure how much more on these since this is a very new design. I'm thinking an unlocked one will be anywhere from 300-600.
