help on Hillis play

I like Hillis as a play this week but I have DeAngelo Williams, LT, Jamal Lewis ahead of him. I dont like playing Rivers (big Ben alternative), LT and Gates in one week against the Steelers. My Wides are Santana Moss, Marshall, Steve Smith (Carolina) and Chad Johnson.

Need to figure out if I should sit LT and go with Hillis.

Well I don't think Hillis will score you a lot of points. He won't get a typical RB workload and he might get some passes but he won't score a lot of TD's or make big gains.

At least that is my take.

I guess I will take my chances with LT catching passes for TD's and yards. I didnt think the Falcons had a strong run Def.

Its not so much the Falcons strength as much as its the Denver O doesn't really go with a plan that relies heavily on Hillis. Thats my opinion though. I just see it being a pass heavy game plan which won't benefit you starting Hillis.

Hillis is a wildcard, LT a proven starter. This is a no-brainer.

I had the first pick and by the time round 2 came around there were only RB's so I grabbed 6 in a row and traded for Marshal (during down time), steve smith was traded draft day for Selvin Young, chad johnson got waived, santana moss was traded for Graham (TB RB) and I got DeAngelo Williams and Rivers for Delhomme and E.Royal.

Uhm why not? I could EASILY see that team. Marshall fell very far, plus he has no expensive QB going into the season (Rivers was around a 5th round pick this year.

I'm 9-1 and rolling. I got DeAngelo Williams off waivers when Stewart started going off (I havent been able to pick up anything off waivers due to always being #1) and my team is way more loaded than the guy in this thread.

Hillis wont score you many fantasy points unless he really gets a lot of carries.

More of a catching and YAC type deal, maybe not a good play this week.

Yikes. I'm guessing you lost this week.....especially if you benched Hillis and went with Rivers, LT and Gates. They, combined with the wide receivers you listed, probably got you less points combined than half the QBs in the league alone earned their teams yesterday.

I have Jones, Williams, and L.T. Needless to say LT is riding my bench. However I have a bye this week.

I say Jones is a MUST START, and DeAngelo is on fire, so ride him till he burns out typically, but Id go with Hillis because the matchups are so lopsided TB and KC lol.
