I did find that link too wags (from this AM) and put that up on the other site - i also "grabbed" the file and have it archived.

The part that was edited out was the bit about congressional oversight over the subprime securities....not sure why they would edit that out when the rest seems just as critical of congress in general. Barney Franks being Thanked by the supposed "people that should be shot" maybe, but I don't think Franks would have that much pull.

I think it had to do with that comment. They owned Golden West (sold to Wachovia), and it was a lawsuit waiting to happen

Nbc was scared of law suits from Herb Sandler ...
