Top Ten Reasons Why John McCain Will Lose This Election

By Taylor Marsh:

1. George W. Bush

2. The Iraq war

3. The economic implosion this fall.

4. Without the national security card McCain couldn't win.

5. Hillary Clinton made Barack Obama a better candidate than he ever would have been on his own.

6. McCain picked Sarah Palin without vetting her, and believed she was interchangeable with Hillary Clinton.

7. McCain and his team bought the notion of the mythical anti Obama Hillary block and doubted that Hillary Clinton, along with Bill Clinton, would bring her supporters home (in droves).

8. McCain and his team botched the roll out of Sarah Palin, throwing her into the deep end of the media pool, instead of letting her wade with the wingnuts and radio barkers who would have protected her.

9. McCain turned into a candidate no one recognized, sacrificing his core "maverick" message.

10. McCain and his team misjudged, underestimated and disrespected the formidable talent of Barack Obama and the team he put together.

But not in all states. He will win some states. Kentucky, for one, The Deep South states for others. And I think Indiana will be competitive for both of them.

WTF is all the blaming McCain for introducing Sarah Palin wrong ****?? How about McCain lost the election because he picked a VP that was totally unqualifed and a walking excuse for birth control. I don't know about other people but I don't think I want my VP's most shining moment being that she shot wolves from a moving helicopter.

Much I agree with actually, if McCain looses...

I think that Wright should have been on the table, and also Palin should have been on the conservative shows as well ... the McCain camp could have put her on Fox O'Rielys show, or Couric -- for some reason they thought that she would do better with those who want to knock her down? They micro-managed the hell out of her -- if they wanted a moderate -- they should have went out and got one -- if they want the base, get teh base -- you cant have it both ways I dont think. Dont crawl into her head, and dress her up like McCain.

McCain is a globalist just like Bush 1 and 2.

But that's not why he lost.

Frankly, I'm surprised the popular count is this close.

Yeah...it has nothing to do with Obama being extremely bright, molding an outstanding leadership team, developing huge advantages in grassroots organizational superiority or having the foresight to use the internet to raise his campaign support. It's all about McCain being an inferior candidate.

Got it.
