I know its difficult to find many.

I thought Moss had his best game yet as a Bronco.

I can say the same about Hillis. What a stud, and why havent we been utilizing this guy more than we have.

Royal had a pretty good game.

Overall d-line looked better vs. the run and pressuring the Qb.

Kern & Prater are great young talents !

Defense played their best game since Tampa Bay, held them to 19 points. (The average NFL defense gives up 21 points per game)

Defense held the powerful Dolphins rush (which I predicted to DESTROY us) to 2.6 YPC! For a total of 75 yards rushing off of 29 attempts. Awesome.

Now just imagine if we had champ healthy defending the pass - could have been a shutout.

There were some positives, I mean it was a pretty close game, and that was with 3 turnovers including one for a score.

Outside of the one long Run early in the game, the run defense was actually very stout.

The pass rush was hot and cold, but that's better than all cold.

Bly didn't get burned

Moss looked more comfortable

Lowry even looked a bit better

Hillis is another fun new toy

Thank you:thanku: It so nice to see some positive talk in a room full of negitave. After a lose it nothing but fire this person, cut that person, they don't know how to play ect. Something positive is always nice to read. People lets talk about the good things that came out the game. And lets talk about how to improve as a team not how to get rid of someone or how such and such person is terrible.

The major knock I have on Cutler is he isn't very good at throwing to backs out of the backfield. He improved today, hopefully he'll keep doing it. Hillis can be a pro bowl FB if we use him at his game.

I'll say this countless times... all great QB's use passes out of the backfield effectively. Cutler doesn't seem interested in 5 yd gains. He wants the home run too much and its killing him. He also isn't very good at reading defenses. That's killing him right now.

Positives is our D did really good. Not as good as Miami's 18 man defense though. We need to get some of those guys in stripes, they're ****ing awesome at causing 10-15 yard losses.

Finding Hillis was a nice surprise today. When the WR's are covered as well as they were today, it's time to find a TE...haven't seen that since Scheffler was injured.

Sad when it comes to this.

Not really. When you consider we've had a revolving door at the punter position for quite some time. I recall many short/ shanked punts. Elam was a great f/g kicker for the Broncos, but didnt have the leg to kick touchbacks like Prater. Field positon is half the battle.

Our special teams had a great day. Royal should be handling all kick return duties, not just punts.

Peyton Hillis just set himself up as another weapon for our offense. Yet another player the opposing team has to spend time game planning against.

Who the hell is louis green? His coverage on RW sucked when it counted.

Sorry, back to positives. Brandon's PI call was a negative but the result of the play before the penalty was a big positive. If he doesn't get that flag (I disagree wholeheartedly with the refs call on that one) then I believe the Broncos win this game. Other games today the refs were letting the guys play but we couldn't get that here, sucks.

Defense stopped the run, thats always a positive.

We need to pick a RB and ride him the rest of the way. This RBBC stuff bites and I think it is bad for the O-line to always block for different backs. They can't get into a rhythm and they will never learn their RB's tendancies. That is when the running game is going well, when your line and back know each other well and start making the little changes that build up to make a big difference and lay the foundation for big run plays. We need to go back to running.

I wish everyone would quit taking turns on Jay's knob. At this point in his career Big Ben already won a SB and made a PB.

Agree on those points, and I'd like to add that Cutler is throwing way too high.

Didn't get to watch much of the game, but saw on the stats that J. Moss had 2 sacks. Was wondering, did he beat his man or where they coverage sacks?

Our dline showed good pass rush today... it was absent a few times but it has definitely improved, no doubt.

Didn't get to see much of Bell today, but he played with fire.

Better tackling today.

Hell I saw a lot of positives today, I'm not even taking this loss too hard.

Cutler played very well at the end when he had to... receivers weren't getting open and they dropped a lot of passes but he had us poised for a comeback. If Miami doesn't convert on that 3rd and long with Williams I think we win. Yes, DESPITE 3 turnovers.

As much as some people here would like us to, we don't suck as much as they think. We've been shooting ourselves in the foot too many times but we're still in every game until the end. (except for NE of course)

This is a young team, still learning... but hell, they are competitive in pretty much every game despite a ton of mistakes that CAN be fixed. We lack some talent especially on defense but I'm willing to bet we win at least 9 games if we can cut down on the turnovers. This team has a very good future and I for one will be blind and deaf to all the stupid crap that people are saying in here. This is not our year and we all knew that. We're still in first place and hopefully we play smart enough to take the division.

Looking forward to thursday to see our guys continue to develop.

Yeah I'm not taking it hard either, but I expected us to get torched on the ground. Chargers lost to the Dolphins, Buffalo lost, Pats lost - they're a good team and it could have gone either way.

GOD...even with the INT PAYMAH SUCKS!

Another Positive...while I believe they looked like they gave up against NE...it was nice to see guys NOT give up today...and they got pissed instead of just letting it happen.

1.) Jarvis Moss looked like a football player today. Along with D.J. helped to blow up the Wildcat. For the first time, he's playing with leverage, he's still inconsistent, but it's a start.

2.) Nate played pretty well. He had a couple of solid hits, and he's not overpersuing nearly and much as he has in the past.

3.) Hillis (nuff said).

4.) Eddie Royal is phenomenal for a rookie WR, and a legit homerun threat returner.

I think there were many positives today.

1. Royal's kick return...maybe he can do this more often if given the chance,...havent seen someone do that in a while.

2. Peyton Hillis emerged as a force in the passing game and finally played like he did at Arkansas.

3. I thought Jay improved today. He finally was looking at the field and off of Marshall. It needed to happen. People complain about Shanahan not playing Hillis but the way Cutler was forcing it to Marshall, why does it matter if Larsen was playing FB. Today he looked at the field more...he had to.

4. Jarvis Moss made several nice plays.

5. Enough guys made good plays on defense that we were able to see that we have some talent on defense but we were also finally able to see in a very clear way how damaging those 12 yard cushions are. And so now people should kind of have a sense of how much of a problem Slowik is.

6. Paymah made an INT when he was finally allowed to play bump and run...and it was against Ted Ginn no less...which really invites scrutiny as to why they gave Camarillo those cushions. If Paymah can play bump and run against Ginn and look that good, why give Camarillo those cushions? Dumb. But thats Slowik.

7. Clady didnt give up a sack.

I thought Bly played well today, probably his best game of the season. Was up at the line of scrimmage playing bump and run on Ginn. I'd like to see more of that from our D, but who knows?

That would defy our commitment to sucking on defense. Cant have that.

So...why does our D look better without the Bailey Brothers in the lineup? ;D
Fire away...

It has little to do with Bailey and a lot to do with the cushions. And the 19 points can maybe be attributed to the Dolphins and their style of play. Its not like they punish you in the passing game the way some teams do.

The biggest positive:

If our defense can be fixed, so can our offense!

Agreed but while normally Im the first to bash a defense that has been bad at stopping teams, today's game and lack of ability to stop the Fish at the end is solely on the offense.

The defense played nearly 40 minutes of football. Turnovers, 3 and outs and a quick scoring drive really hurt the defense at the end of the game today. You could tell, they were tired, exhausted and beat up because the offense was that poor today.

Hillis should never have been replaced and many here said as much.

Marcus Thomas is our best man up front period. The guy is a beast out there, its unfortunate that no one else around him knows how to plug gaps and tackle because we really might be formidable if they did.
