Here he is, Chad Jackson.
I wanted him when I saw thew 4.25 40 speed, and especially with his size. But, for some reason he just totally floundered at New England. He had a major injury, so we have to question whether he has lost a few steps, or if there was just too much competition with Moss and Welker. So, make your vote before we see him in live action.

He has the potential to be a good #2 and move Royal to the slot. Time will tell. Shanny wanted him coming out of college. But take that for what it is.

Subway. NE gave him a lot of chances when he was healthy and Tom repeatedly expressed his frustration with him.....he was almost never where he was supposed to be in his routes.

He's from Florida right? Something about those Gator receivers, they never seem to pan out...
Shanny has a chubby for those Gator guys, hello, McGriff....

He might become a decent return man for us. Anything else will be gravy.
Then again it sounds like he just didn't understand the game - which is critical for the type of offense that the Pats run. It relies heavily on receiver route adjustments. We have less of that in Denver so I think he could fare better here but anything better than being a slot #3/#4(depending on Stokely's health) would be very very optomistic.

He was "supposed" to be a first round pick that fell to the second round. Then he goes to New England and does nothing. I suppose he could "realize" his potential here, but I'm not holding my breath. I suspect he's depth because Jackson has grown overweight and by next year he'll be lucky to make it through camp. I hope I'm wrong, though.

Why is he wearing his underwear band on his head? Is that a lucky charm?

Isn't he the famous Gator WR with Alligator Arms in the senior bowl?

I too wanted to draft him, I was disappointed. Maybe just maybe a change of teams and sceneray will do the job8')

He has the potential and talent to become a great number 2 for us and make Royal our slot receiver.
I think at the very least he can hang on the roster for a few seasons as a return man for us. either way i think it was a good signing.

4.3 speed doesn't mean crap if you don't catch the ball. I hope that he becomes the player he was picked to be but who knows. Odds are he will do nothing but we keep players like that around for awhile. I was very high on him coming out of college as well.

Royal has been great in his Rookie year. Jackson will not replace him as the #2.

Which Jackson do you speak of? Chad Jackson, Darrell Jackson, Nate Jackson, Michael Jackson the singer/kid toucher or Michael Jackson the ex-Ravens WR?

With Hall not practicing he could be our KR.

He wanted him so badly that he traded up for Cutler in the 1st, tried to move back into the 1st for Maroney, and let the Pats move ahead of them in the early 2nd to draft him.

So we signed a wide receiver when the defense is the problem?
Yeah, we are on top of things this season.
