View Full Version : Halloween at Obama’s Whitehouse, 2009.

A pack of costumed kids ring the doorbell at 1600 Ave., 2009. Obama smiles and reaches into each bag’s kid to grab half. The kiddies object, but the Messiah explains – “This will go to the less fortunate, and more worthy kids who wouldn’t get off their butts, but stayed at home to watch South Park.” They object “Its not fair that 10% should give more candy than everyone else combined!” Obama teaches the selfish, candy-clinging children: “But 95% will benefit from your anonymous sacrifice, it is patriotic.” A fat kid in the back mumbles, “But 40% dont trick or treat.” The secret service escort him away for re-education. The rest learn the lesson of trickle up poverty, leave their bags on the door step, and wait for their share of redistributed candy.

The right believe people in the middle class deserve the money they earn less than the wealthiest do. That's what the argument boils down to.

Still beats, the Republicans in this narrative, who would be the the teenagers out bag-snatching. Of course, they'd get too sick, and for a cure, demand more candy.

The whole 40% thing is ridiculous. Using that argument one might suggest that we the military only protect the 60% who pay taxes, that those 60% be the ones to use the interstates, the only ones who can vote and get passports.

What an idiotic analogy. Obama is giving a tax cut to 95% of PEOPLE WHO PAY TAXES, not to people who aren't working. Learn to to at least actually understand something before you attempt to attack it.

.. meanwhile, McCain straight up says he wants to greatly increase my taxes by taxing my employer co-paid health insurance benefits while at the saem time giving tax breaks to companies experiencing windfall profits.

**** McCain and his deceitful tax claims.

And for the 40% of those who dont pay income tax in America, they will not get some type of check from Big Brother? -- I would really like to know...as he is the champ of the poor, that sounds so unfair....does he hate poor people?

In part because I see that only Japan has higher tax rates for businesses in the industrialized world -- when 40% of Americans pay no income tax at all they would be more inclined to want various goodies paid by others -- I dont think that a system so out of whack and demonizes those that earn the most money and the many small businesses that are the backbone of the country is the way to get out of the mess we are in. Also, I believe that as you tax businesses more many will leave overseas and will be less inclined to hire, which in turn will impact average folks.

It is simply not true that the rich dont pay their part -- they pay a higher percentage then the middle class -- and a higher percentage than the 40% who do not pay any income tax at all. Look at the states that tax the most, vs those like TX who keep state taxes low -- that draws business, jobs and money to those states, while other states loose their tax base and jobs.

Well, here’s a fact: Two thirds of profitable U.S. corporations pay no income taxes whatsoever. Think about that. Nothing. You can be forgiven for not knowing that, because even though it is obviously newsworthy, and just flat out insane, somehow it hasn’t made its way into discussions of the tax code in the corporate press. In fact, John McCain thinks our corporate tax rate is too high, and he wants to cut it. It hardly matters, I guess—any percentage of nothing is still nothing. The fact that the wealthiest entities on the planet are skating on their taxes while dishwashers have money extracted from their measly paychecks on a weekly basis would seem like a talking point tailor-made to slap all the new plumber fans out there into relative fiscal sobriety, but Obama hasn’t brought it up.

It's a bogus myth that the rich are demonized by what they pay. Yes they are held to the highest percentage, but of that percentage they actually only pay 31% of it because of the loopholes. Those in the second lowest tax bracket pay 90% of what they owe. Cry me a ****ing river for "demonizing" the rich with some taxes.

And I wonder what TX is going to do now that their unemployment cases are rising and they are basically bankrupt in that area. I guess borrow from the fed.

Ronald Reagan already took care of that. Or have you never heard
of something called the Earned Income Tax Credit. In a nutshell
it gives a rebate of several thousand dollars to people who owe
no income tax.

A pack of costumed kids ring the doorbell at 1600 Ave., 2009 with bags already full because they hired other kids to get the candy and dump 90 percent in their bags so that the actual workers has only a little. After ripping off the worker kids and giving them NOT their share fair, they refused to give extra to the kids whom where hurt while collecting the candy and told them that they don't give enough candy back to the employers Obama smiles and reaches into each bag’s kid to grab half. The kiddies object, but the Messiah explains – “This will go to harder working, and more worthy kids who didn't have the advantage of daddy's money to get them the resources to hire a bunch of kids, and were just looking to work to get some candy.” They object “Its not fair that 10% should give more candy than everyone else combined!” Obama teaches the selfish, candy-clinging children: “But 95% will benefit from your anonymous sacrifice, it is patriotic.” A fat kid in the back mumbles, “But 40% can't trick or treat because the last guy that lived in this house broke their legs and used all the candy he stole to throw at kids in 3rd world countries.” The secret service escort him away for re-education. The rest learn the lesson of fair wages for work, leave their bags on the door step, and wait for their fair share of redistributed candy.

Both Mccain and Obama sold out the American people with their bailout votes. I just saw some BS commercial the other day where Obama said that the American people's interests need to be protected and not big banks. What a liar. I will not vote for either of these guys who sold the American people out just weeks before they asked for our votes.
