Palin brags about stopping the bridge to nowhere and its a badge of honor. Here is the other side of the story and what the bridge really was supposed to be for. Notice how the town found out she shelved it:

Never mind the fact that she was for it before she was against it.

Never mind the fact that she was for it before she was against it.

Or the fact that even after she was 'against' it she still kept the money.

Someone should do a genealogy search and find out if she's related to Bush -
she exhibits the infamous "if my lips are moving, I'm lying" family trait.

She's not smart enough to be related to George Bush

Funny thing is that the road to nowhere was built. I think it cost 25 million to build.

Exactly its essentially a worthless road as it leads to where the bridge was supposed to span. $25 million down the drain. Guess thats why they had to sell the jet.

Tensions Are Growing Inside Republican Camp

Politico is reporting (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1008/14929.html) that Sarah Palin has had enough with what her handlers are telling her to do. She blames them for her increasingly negative public image and wants to be herself. CNN has a similar story. (http://us.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/25/palin.tension/index.html) Some people are interpreting this as the start of her 2012 presidential campaign.

Quote of the Day

"Putting Palin one 72-year-old heartbeat from the leadership of the free world is just too risky at this time."

Excerpt:

We all know by now that Sarah Palin hates socialism - unless it's socialism for her family. Palin, who loves painting herself as a self-reliant woman who likes to say, "Thanks, but no thanks" to unnecessary government spending, is always on the lookout for a freebie, even if it means playing it fast and loose with the law.

While she ridicules Obama's plan to "spread the wealth" to people who actually need it, Palin is seeking more of the socialism for the wealthy pioneered by Bush. In fact, the motto of the GOP since Reagan has been 'spread more wealth to the financially avaricious rich by pickpocketing the working class.'
