Doesn't say....just that he "re-injured" it....it had been bothering him since the 3rd preseason game....

It's ok. I like this one better because the title consists of more than just a name of player and no other information. I can't stand posts that are just a dude's name and then you have no idea what the thread is about. 90% of the threads on Broncomania are like that "Hillis" "Larsen" or "Bailey" <---- You don't even know which one they're talking about. So thank you for making a thread title that gives good information.

But...but...all you have to do is put your cursor over the title and the info pops up. Ha!

We should title each thread with a number based on when it was created. People can just mouse over the number to see what its really about. :D

1 minute and he's done for the year? That makes Brandy Frayle look like an iron man. I can't wait to see what a 6'0", 250 pound QB looks like lining up under center. I guess Hackney moving to LB is no longer an option then...

Well, there goes the season now. Seriously, the guy didn't deserve to be on the team this year. Hackney should have been the backup.

Hopefully the injury explains his pre-season. It looked like he had regressed

Hackney looks like Pacman Jones behind center.
He has a great arm but only if he was 6 inches taller

While I sincerely wish the best for Patrick and his recovery, this can hardly be considered a bad thing.
Hackney basically outplayed him in the pre-season.

I thought Hackney showed more potential despite his 6' frame.
Ramsey's big arm don't mean **** if he holds onto the ball all day. Put in the munchkin with the big arm.

I suspect Ramsey has completed his tenure with the Broncos. If memory serves he signed a 2 year contract. I wouldn't be surprised if we went after a different, potentially cheaper vet this offseason.

I think we need one thread to summarize all injuries. Seems that we have more injuries than healthy players.

The only play he is effective on is a roll out. He gets balls batted down in the pocket. Did you see the preseason?

I didn't realize that Ramsey actually hurt himself. When I rejoined the game in the second half, I saw Cutler was back in. I just assumed that Shanahan thought Ramsey sucked...ROFL!

So, if Ramsey wasn't hurt...would Cutler still have come back out in the 2nd half? Hmmm.

also we would have one of the worst in th nfl. Hackney not a viable qb in nfl. Broncos would be in deep trouble with him at helm.

All I saw was a guy who was athelitic and would go through 1st maybe 2nd read before pulling ball down then running.
Hard to have success when you are a one dimentional QB.

This is a f*cking rainbow appearing through the rain. Ramsey is a disgrace. Hopefully Bly gets hurt during the bye and the team is forced to seek out real players.

Yes, I agree. But, Cutler has had his share of balls batted down also. He doesn't seem to see anyone when they step into his throwing lane.

umm thats like picking between being burned alive or eaten by a great white shark.
Hackney will never be a starting QB or even a decent BKUP in the NFL. Why Broncos waste there time on these scrubs is a mystery.

Put him in as FB on a few plays against the fish. That would get them guessing and out thinking themselves.

2 things about the backup QB situation.
first, Ramsey was supposed to "help Jay" with his decision making, that hasn't happened.
Second, i'd rather watch Hackney play. The dude at least has some fire and will do anything possible to get a first down. If we had a decent running game and defense, Hackney would be just fine - however....

Hey Flaxamaster (way, way OT),
Have you ever watch a show on satellite called "Dr Drew's Celebrity Rehab?" Gary Busey is one of the guys on the show, and man is he messed up! Your avatar reminded me of what a freak he has become (he's actually from Tulsa and dated my friend's mom). He's creepy...

I'll take it a step further: why is his race even an issue? He was raised by a white mother and her white parents, but why should we even care? Sad. He's the better candidate, IMO, regardless of his race.

which is why that post was bizarre to begin with. AND completely off topic! I wouldn't call it trolling but baiting might be closer. I doubt you'll see that person posting with any regularity. 8')
