I realize it's not going to happen but if you had the choice...would you rather see this team play for the draft or struggle to win a few? Given a choice...would you rather finish with a bunch of losses now and jump up into the top 7 or 8 spots in the first round or hang on for another mediocre 8-8 or something similar.

There is no guarantee any of us will be here tommorow. Play for pride, isn't that what football is supposed to be about?

Did you not watch last nights game... We do not need to tank for draft position ass wipe. Continue to play like that and we will be picking inside the top 10.

I didn't say we should do it. I asked whether you thought we should do it. But our history suggests we'll pull a few games out and probably draft later than this game suggests.

So you want us to be the Chiefs or Raiders.

Fans like you should be banned from Invesco.

Where is the "It's only week 6 and we are still #1 in the division, please don't make me choose between visiting the mane and trying to salvage some enjoyment out of the rest of this season" option?

I would have chosen that.

You play to win the game. The only wise words Herm has ever said.

I voted yes we need an opportunity to build this D somehow the higher the pick the more options we have in offseason. I know higher picks don't guarantee anything but, it would give you an option of taking a great player or move down a few spots and gain more day 1 picks to bolster D even more. I think even when they do try they are really bad anyways so what's the difference. If we don't score 30 pts a game we might not win anymore games this season anyway.

This isn't the NBA. playing for draft picks is terrible.

People seriously over-reacting to the Pats game.

Only when the playoffs are impossible does tanking on purpose become a viable option.

As it stands we're still in good shape to make the playoffs. It's between us and San Diego, two very patch teams, and we've every chance of getting there.

We can improve as the season progressess you know. Get this Offense back on track and I still give us a fighting chance against most teams in a playoff game, especially if we can establish some running game in the meantime.

Five years of the same results defensively is not an over-reaction. I say blow up the defense, including the coaches. If we can't even commit to one scheme, we've got issues. Now we have the players learning two schemes during the season. Why didn't they do this during traning camp?

Did I quote you?

7 games into a 16 game season, we are above .500 and you start a thread asking about playing for the draft or not.

I am way off base here.

That's one way of looking at it. Or you could look at the fact that we're 10 years removed from the Superbowl with one playoff win and a crap defense every year.

I'm a big picture thinker.
