The 2 -4, Chad Pennington led Miami Dolphins in our house.

A fully fit offense but possibly Champless defence.

What are everyone's thoughts?

Ronnie Brown is gonna kill us right?

I figure everyone else is making threads and I for one want to move on from the debacle last night.

I will be starting Pennington in FF

Chad will eat us alive, what can Brown do for you?

150+ yards that's what.

Somehow I believe that this team will rebound and win this game somehow even after that debacle.

Im usually not this optimistic, but this keeps me from being too pissed to do anything.

Well, Pennington can't throw deep, so we'll just have to defend short dump offs.

Oh ****.

Miami has a good D. Chad has an incredible completion %. Factor in Ronnie Brown, arguably the most talented back in the league - it's not looking good.

On the bright side, San Diego will probably lose to the Saints, and possibly every other week this year.

An AFC West team will probably make the playoffs at 7-9. Why not Broncos?

I make it a point to start any player on my fantasy teams that play the Broncos.... Now including defenses.

Here comes the wildcat!!

I predict Brown rushes for 150+ yards and 3 TD's, throws for another 2 TD's!

Dolphins D is pretty darn good.

Since we made Cassel look like a pro-bowler and their 4th string RB look like a starter....need I say more?

If I played FF and had Ronnie Brown I would start him. He's going to destroy our efense

I'm going to this game with a group of Dolphins fans. I really hope we don't lay an egg. I won't hear the end of it if we suck again.

Shanny is and always will be tough with two weeks to prep. We should squeak out a victory IMO.

Does anyone know the record for highest completion %? coz it will be broken in this game.

I'll take Pennington over Cassel any day and Cassel whipped our ass

I didn't have a good feeling about this game before and with the way the D isn't playing and now all the injuries I believe it could be hopeless but doesn't Shanahan have a stellar record in games after the bye

I've seen 10-3 thrown around on a few sites.

However all our good consitancy (pwning the patriots) is gone, and all our bad consistancy (losing at Arrowhead and to Jax) is still in full swing.

I actually think we'll win this game...somehow. Shanahan has two weeks to prepare for Miami. It's just too bad that Shanahan doesn't have two weeks to prepare for the rest of the games this season. We could use an off-week every two weeks...

I like that idea

Shanahan has two weeks to prepare for Miami.

This year I think things are going to work a little differently than in the past. Immediately after the Miami game, they have to get on a plane for Cleveland for the Thursday night game. That only leaves them 3 days to heal up and get ready for the Browns.....not enough time.

A significant portion of this extra week is going to have to go into game-planning for the Browns because there simply won't be enough time to do it after the Miami game. There will be no "advantage" in having this bye week to prepare for Miami.....other than the extra time to heal bodies up.

Most offenses give this defense problems, but Miami is a ball control type that wants long drives and limit mistakes, which requires the defense to make plays and force mistakes, things this defense doesn't and hasn't for a few years now. So the Broncos better score every time they get the ball because they don't figure to have the ball much since Miami figures to win the TOP battle.
