I think that the real underlying problem with the team is leadership. Jay is to drugged up looking and Champ is to damn old. Where is the leadership supposed to come from???
IMHO we should make a move and bring in some vet leadership. Someone like Gus Ferotte or maybe Kordell stewart. I would have to look at the list of people that are out there but some leadership would go along way on this team.
We really missed the boat when Farve was availiable. :nono:

We could probably get EIther VY or Matt Lionhart. Both won NCAA CHampionships.

Good points but I dont think they have the leadership that we need.

He never makes any plays anymore. We should trade him for a 3rd and start rebuilding next year.

Dude look what happens to old CB's now he has pulled a nut and who knows how long he will be out. He would be better suited to just come in on 3rd and 15+ and rest him the rest of the game.
I also think we need more leadership at the coach position. Maybe someone like Art Shell or something. Someone who really brings fire and passion.

No. Bringing in leadership would mean bringing in a UFA in the offseason. That's unacceptable to this board because we all know that a UFA would take the place of 1 of the 17+ draft picks Denver needs every year and you usually have to overpay a UFA to get them in here, which would take up cap room that could be used on a draft pick.
