I had a skinless chicken breast tossed in chili pepper and italian seasoning, with a little parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. With a side of spinach. It was pretty damn good.

Nice that sounds pretty damn good. Except for the spinach. I can only tolerate spinach every once in a great while and it has to be with vinegar.

I love spinach. Easily my favorite green vegetable. Just needs a little salt.

I will eat a salad with romain lettuce any day love the stuff. And from my time in the South I love Collard Greens but I just never have liked spinach. Not sure why either.

Tonight for dinner I've had scotch, whiskey, Goldschlager, and sambuca, all on the rocks! Don't worry...one at a time.

All this food talk is making me hungry (or thirsty I guess).

Sorry, I read none of this thread at all and really no reason too. I love a good food jack. A couple days ago I grilled up a good piece of Salmon with a good Dijon mustard / lemon juice topping with a salmon spice mix (pre made from the store but is very good). Carry on.

Has any one ever had this stuff? I mean the real thing?

http://www.cardsquad.com/media/2006/01/Absinthe.jpg

Absinthe is traditionally a distilled, highly alcoholic (45%-75% ABV) beverage. It is an anise-flavored spirit derived from herbs, including the flowers and leaves of the herb Artemisia absinthium, also called wormwood. Absinthe has a characteristic natural green colour but can also be colourless. It is often called "the Green Fairy". Although it is sometimes mistakenly called a liqueur, absinthe is not bottled with added sugar and is therefore classified as a liquor.[1] Absinthe is unusual among spirits in that it is bottled at a high proof but is normally diluted with water when it is consumed. Some modern absinthes are bottled at up to 82% alcohol[2] and others can contain up to 89.9%[3].

Absinthe originated in the canton of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. It achieved great popularity as an alcoholic drink in late 19th- and early 20th-century France, particularly among Parisian artists and writers. Due in part to its association with bohemian culture, absinthe was opposed by social conservatives and prohibitionists. Charles Baudelaire, Paul Verlaine, Arthur Rimbaud, Vincent van Gogh, Oscar Wilde, and Aleister Crowley were all notorious "bad men" of that day who were (or were thought to be) devotees of the Green Fairy. Absinthe was portrayed as a dangerously addictive psychoactive drug.[4] The chemical thujone, present in small quantities, was blamed for its alleged harmful effects. By 1915, absinthe had been banned in the United States and in most European countries except the United Kingdom, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, and the Austro-Hungarian Empire

I can neither confirm nor deny having absinth, however I will tell you Croyle would not be feeling any pain if he had any of them.

And a nice scotch will get bruised if you poor it on the rocks. If you need ice poor the scotch then add one cube of ice gingerly. Or so Scotch drinkers tell me, my palette is not that sophisticated. I recommend The Glenlivit Nadura to people when they ask, as it is almost a perfect combination of spicy, petey and all the other scotch flavors. Nadura means "Natural" meaning it is chill filtered and is a little more cloudy then most. But it will not disappoint.

And Brodie should be bubble wrapped.

I don't know I am drinking a lot right now and I feel pain watching this game. I think and I can't tell because my vision is blurry, but Thigpen is in at QB? Can we just call Croyle Mr. Glass already. I really think it works for him.

I think he might be benched longer then that, based on his lack of performance and inability to remain upright and unbroken. I am guessing first pick next draft will be a QB not made of glass. BTW, here's an article on his being done for the season.

He must of got hurt today if he played. Herm must not want him around because this has always been a big knock on him and he trots him out against the best team in football who is by far the most physical team in football. I bet he got killed by Haynesworth and Co.

I don't think given the Chiefs season that it is unlikely they won't get a shot in the draft at some good players. The question is really more or less whether Herm and Carl will make good decisions.

What are you talking about? I pretty much hate the Sooners so any love they get from me is well deserved. Bradford is a very good QB and plays VERY fast. The Longhorns defense is amongst the fastest in the country... how did he do against them?
