I am having a really hard time coming up with even one team. Can anyone think of one. The 03 KC D was bad but they got a lot of TO's which is light years ahead of the Denver D now.
The 1982 Chargers? The 1986 Dolphins?

Agree, could be the chargers in the early 80s. I wonder why either team bothered to activate a game day punter back then.
Worse franchise: the cardinals have won only two playoff games in their 88 years of existence. Amazing.

Those D's were just very bad against the run. Denver's D is can 't defend run or pass.

O7 defense did one thing better than this year's crapola. They were pretty good against #1 receiver (thanks Champ). This year people have figured out that all they need to do free up #1 recevier is to move them over to the right side.......

This defense is pretty good against the run... until late in games when they've been completely worn down by their inability to defend the pass. The tackling gets sloppy and big plays happen.

"cough cough" Marquand Manuel
why is McCree getting benched and not him?

Bingo. That was the worst D I've seen in my 30 years as a Broncos fan, hands down. It was like watching a high school team out there trying to defend against pros.
While we stink this year, I would say there have been marginal improvements.
DJ back on the outside, Robtertson and Webster playing a more natural position probably account for the improvements.
Though, the downgrade at safety is a major one.

Again, we "phased out" Lynch for these two. On paper, I'm sure it sounded nice... but I told people this was a bad idea. Lynch was the only guy who knew where to even line up last year. Remember when he was out of the line-up and we couldn't even get the right amount of guys on the field?
We made a big error dumping him. I don't care if he lost a step... if he could WALK, he could produce better than these dumb-f#cks we have out there now. What a couple of pussies. Has either one of them hit anyone yet this year?

Why aren't both of them getting benched?
Or better yet just cut outright.

I just noticed Manuel's fourth on the team in tackles, maybe they're falling into last year's trap: "Webster was second on the team in tackles, why should he lose his job?" They remind me of my friend who used to just simulate all his seasons in Madden and look at the numbers at the end :nono: .

I totally agree with this. I kept waiting to see any solid play from either one of these losers to justify their spot on the field. The only play that said anything was the two players bouncing off Mercedez allowing him to score. I think we need John Lynch more than ever right now. He's available, get it done ! Next year draft safety & d-ends that can hold up.

Yep this is the worst Defense I have ever seen. Easiest bet of the week was SD -9 and the over at 50. I missed on all my other bets but I knew Denver couldn't compete in this game.
