ABC, citing unnamed current and former Mahoney staff members, said the congressman began his affair with Patricia Allen, 50, in 2006 while he was campaigning for Congress, promising to return morals and family values to Washington.

Snort.

Snort.

I guess, as opposed to the Republicans version of page boys and bathroom stalls, he just wanted to show that you can also have illicit affairs with women.

Ha! He actually took Foley's seat!

So what's the problem? They're both consenting adults? ROFL!

Well somehow she got like 100 grand to stay quiet. Where did it come from? They are accusing him of using campaign funds to pay her off and that would be highly illegal. She made 120 grand or something like that somehow, it came from him, he doesn't make that much money, where did he get it from?

If he makes it through the general by some miracle, we're going to take him out in the 2010 primaries.

Yep, here comes fair and balanced Libertarian W*gs right on cue with a
post about the rare occasion a Democrat got caught dipping his wick
where he shouldn't have. A search of the archives found no such
post about Larry Craig, Newt Gingrich, or Tom Foley started by W*gs
though.

You can set your watch by W*gs. So in that regard he does serve a useful purpose.

So?

I don't recall you ever starting a thread about how evil Kim Jong-Il is, so clearly you approve of that little ****.

Right?

It's the money he paid her that is the problem not who he screwed. You can't use campaign donations to pay off your mistress, ummmmm, yeah, that would be wrong.

Ehh....not a big deal.

If he didn't use govt funds, or campaign funds to pay her off then I agree it's none of our business. At least it wasn't a little boy.

But if he used campaign funds, that's a felony, you go to prison for that.

I'm not the one who took Little Kim's fiefdom off the list of countries that
sponsor terrorism. Your boy Bush did that, as he did with Gaddaffy Duck
over in Libya. So if your boy Bush thinks these folks are A-okay, shouldn't
you fall in line?

Why?

Bush ain't my boy - never has been.

Leave the playground teeter-totter thinking to children - and grow up.
