That's nice to see, and barring some meltdown, he's pretty much a pro-bowl lock. I'm watching Brees ridiculously close for the MVP race. Peyton just might make a nice 2nd half push in the running as well. Jay's going to need to raise his level of play back to the early season levels if he wants to get his first OPOY or MVP, and just as important, we're hitting a stretch of fairly soft defenses.

Finally getting some soft defenses is exactly right!

Isn't it funny how in the first three games we were playing some high powered offenses and our defense sucked!

No I said AFC Bias on purpose. I saw clinton portis and immediately thought AFC, but he's in the NFC now. I realized it after I posted :P

I understand where the criticism is coming from and I don't think it's unwarranted. The TB game he played and managed well, despite the low offensive output.

This past game was different, he just didn't play well. 2 out of 3 turnovers were on him and in big games, that's 2 too many. We can rationalize with the injuries to Scheff and Eddie, but until our young messiah can overcome and make those plays, he's going to get that criticism and rightly so.

Which is why the Pro Bowl is a joke. Fans vote for there hometown favorite not the best player.

AP ALL PRO team is the only really worthy post season honor. All the fan based voting is a total joke and you just proved why.

I agree I love the guy to death, but it just seemed like he was confused quite a bit yesterday. He didn't know if he should tuck it and run, or drop it over a defender. His decision making has just been a little slower than normal lately. I don't think he really crapped on John's head though ROFL!

Completely disagree. The fan vote holds little weight. Coaches and players do the real heavy lifting.

With the running game stalling and his offensive line on a season long vacation, Ben is winning by himself and should go at this pace. Also, Rivers is putting up pretty numbers.
