Anyone out there with patent experience?

More specifically do you own a patent and have you brought that idea to the market?

If so any recommended websites? or companies for a possible joint venture?

I've already gone trough the uspto site but just looking for some first hand experiences.

I have a patent on a device used in medical ultrasonography but it is 30 years old and obsolete. I know that the whole patent process with the correct lawyer and all is a total pain in the ass. Patents really are only good for 7 years and really only serve to show others how you are doing things. Call me if you need any info, Steve.
