Do you think Parcells would have even considered the GM job in Denver with Shanny as a coach even if Shanny was stripped? Of course not. Parcells will go to a losing team because they are easy to rebuild. He will turn them around to 8-8 or so and then he will leave.

I've been saying for years Shanny needs to step off of the front office duties and let front office people do their thing. It's obvious by our defense that his meddling in FO doesn't work. Love him as a coach though. I hate that our defense makes average players look like HOF'ers all the time.

Before Jones stepped in and brought in idiots like T.O., Pacman, and Tank the Cowboys had quality players that where TOUGH.

Thankfully (my hatred for the Cowboys is Raiderseque) Jones still runs that organization. With all of the infighting they'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

He does build solid teams and then he leaves before they accomplish anything. Denver already is a solid team. Something Shanny deserves credit for.
