Just a Band aid,,,,but they will be able to twist enough arms
to probably get it through.
Only hope now is enough Dems bail to fry it again.
Give me enough time to check on my status and move my 401 K out . Don't know if I can roll it before leaving the company, or what the tax result will be.
I'm screwed either way, probably.

They keep using the wrong terminology to describe this bill, with words like "bail-out" and "rescue." Call it what it is: Ransom.

I think it will pass. I think it will work because America always makes it work. As bad as our leadership gets sometimes we always keep working hard and sending our kids to school. Either way I think America recovers but this way will be less painful and will keep the credit problem from reaching into all sectors.
Remember people hated the Chrysler bailout but govt got paid back on that loan and made money.
This plan isn't a loan but rather the govt jumping into the debt/loan/real estate game. Scary no doubt considering govt waste but if run properly this can turn out ok.

I think you just owe less or they find somewhere else to waste it is the most likely option
