Poll coming...
So four games into the season we have a bit of a feel of who is who. No one has clearly separated themselves yet. Even the "best" teams are looking shaky. Out of these eleven teams I selected, which are the best?

I voted for Tenn & NYG. They are playing the best football in all three phases right now.

Yeah the titans are scary. A vicious front seven and a high turnover secondary. They have a solid rushing offense and a QB who is managing game - That's what a playoff football team looks like.
The Giants are the world Champions until they are out of the playoffs. I knew people would sleep on them. Fools!
I almost voted for the Bills and Redskins. The Redskins have a "complete" team as do the Bills but I just get the feeling the makeup is going to come off at some point here.

Tennessee.
That defense is nasty.
Vaden Bosch, Hanyesworth, Tony Brown, Jevon Kearse....That Dline just devours QBs.
Cortlend (sp) Finnegan is also playing at an extremely high level as well. cant believe he was a 7th round pick

I think the Titans are really good, but they just don't have that elite feel. Their defense is vicious but honestly, would anybody like to bet on Kerry Collins and his band of merry rejects to keep up for the entire season?
On the NFC, it is tricky. You could make a case for each of the NFC East teams as well as Tampa Bay and Carolina. I will still go with the Cowboys in that race. The Giants seem vulnerable on offense, the Redskins doesn't seem to have the consistency needed for 16 games and the Eagles are a Donovan Mcnab injury away from being 6-10. The Panthers are good, but not great and the Buccaneers have Griese (GRIESE). I am going with Dallas as the other team because they have the depth to pull out a strong season and some hot ass cheerleaders.

I voted Tenn, NYG, Cowpokes. Everyone of the teams on the list are beatable. No real dominating team from top to bottom.

I like the Ravens but I like Defense. Should have probably won that game in Pitt last night. They will be around this year.

I would hate to play a team as nasty in the trenches as Tennessee right now.

Man, keeping Collins was just brilliant as well. They are also 3 deep at RB.
Strong all over, except WR, but Collins seems to be making up for it.

Losing a game will help Dallas in the long run as they wont have to deal with the "best team ever" crap all season. After seeing SD play like crap for 3 quarters and let their talent lead them to an 15 point 4th quarter comeback, I know they're going to be around all year. The Titans are easily a team to point out with that great defense, but I'd be a little scared that font seven is going to ware down as the season progresses. I'd have to go with the Giants as the best right now, they remind me so much of the '98 Broncos - coming off an upset Super Bowl victory not many expected them to be very dominant the next year (in fact, most previews had KC winning the West that season). With Tuck and Kiwi not missing a beat from Osi and Strahan, Eli with more confidence under his belt and a team that doesn't have any glaring weaknesses outside maybe CB - I think they've got all the tools to repeat.
The Titans are led by Kerry Collins. Don't think anybody needs to worry about the Titans in the long run. Kerry Collins.
Somehow in a span of 1 month the balance of power has shifted back completely to the NFC. 4 best teams are in that conference now.

Agreed, I just can't see them winning a SB with Kerry Collins as their starting QB, granted I found it hard to believe that a team could win a SB with Trent Dilfer as their QB.

Is Haynesworth a Free agent next year?

Indy will get it together as the season goes on, can't believe they're not on the list.
Cowboys, Tennessee, Giants and San Diego (sorry, I didn't enjoy typing that) would be up there as well of course. Philly too, but playing in the NFC East is gonna burn someone and I have a feeling they and Washington could both miss the playoffs.
Great season so far though, so unpredictable!

The Titans plus the NFC East teams look really good, at this point. I have a feeling that Green Bay will be better than I thought by the end of the season...

Unless something crazy happens between now and the end of the year, he is going to become the highest paid defensive player in the league by a large margin. Haynesworth is somebody you build a defense around. He is a fawking manster.

I still really frown what he did stepping onto his opponents face once intentionally trying to hurt him, but he really appears to have put that incident behind him and now is playing his best football ever.

if you watched Haynesworth's games last year, i havent seen a more dominant defensive player since Reggie White in his prime.
He is far and away the best defensive player in the league (yes I mean that and i love Champ). Bob Sanders and the Colts hype machine robbed him at gunpoint for that DPOY last season.
He will command a contract in the $60 million range next year.

Deadskins also have a 1st time rookie HC, who likes to do the Hip, Hip, Horray thing after big wins on the road. Loved Zorn as a player but he is scary as a HC.

He'll be getting $30 million guarenteed, too. The Chargers are still working to recover from the wounds Tennessee inflicted on them last year.

People, get off the Titans bandwagon. Sure they have a great defense, but their offense sucks, thus they will go no where. I think the Giants first, Cowboys second, and Broncos third. These 3 teams have elite offenses led by great QB play.

apparently you have never seen Chris Johnson play.
The kid is a flat out gamer. with that defense, hes all the offense they need.

If Denver played the Titans tomorrow, I'd take Tennessee -10 in a heartbeat.

I'm going with the Colts. I think they will get the ball rolling here real soon and be back to how they have been over the past couple years.
