I would be willing to do somethig like this but I doubt it happens durring the season. we need to stockpile picks bad so who knows they had better spend some real cash on this D next year because we are a top 15 D away from being a superbowl team.

Why would anyone want Dumervil? An undersized pass-rush specialist who apparently can't rush the passer anymore. I haven't even seen him come close to a QB much in the past couple of games.
Our lack of pass-rush is a decade-old problem. At a certain point, you almost have to be impressed that we can be this bad at one thing... no matter who's coaching or playing.

Not sure about that, but zero sort of equals zero at this point.

Moss is better versus the run while neither has done anything rushing the passer - I take Moss.

Could be. It's just beyond comprehension to flip around to other games and see DEs, LBs and S's flying in... making plays on QBs, batting balls down, causing fumbles, ringing up sacks.
I can't even remember that that looks like for guys in our jersey to be doing that.

I wouldn't worry too much about Dumervil. Both of our left tackles are good players.

Dumervil has been a huge disappointment.

We need Pryce, a healthy Ekuban, Webster, a healthy Lynch and probably a few others I'm forgetting.
Jeesh. I remember thinking that defense was soft. They look like the 85 Bears compared to the trash we trot out there these days.

Not to mention Warren who looked good today against SD---regardless of the fact that we got Torain with that draft pick--I am still upset that we traded a DT to a division rival........

I would trade Dumervil for a 3rd round pick, and higher pick incentive if he gets X amount of sacks.

Would anyone here support a trade for Leonard Little?

I hate that guy and not in the message-board sense. I mean I actually despise the kind of person he is. Killed a woman, called her a bitch after she was dead because his car was dented... and then proceeded to drink and drive and run into more legal problems with it. He's absolute trash. So, I hope we don't do it.
That said, from a purely football standpoint... it's one of the few trade ideas that would seem to make a little sense.
This defense might be SO bad that even Shanahan can't pretend things are fine. He really might be inclined to look into some kind of move like this.

why would the broncos want another RB when they are a passing team?
look at the numbers...the broncos haven't really tried to run the ball this year

Did he really car her a female dog after he killed her with his car????
Running the ball and rushing the passer are about attitude. This team has neither.
Rotating RB's like tires doesn't get it done. Go with one guy and keep running.
On defense, they have tried high price free agents, number one picks, later round picks, street free agents... nothing has worked.
Maybe a pass rushing specialist that can design a defensive scheme that can develope a rush would help.
I see to many spin moves, ans dance moves and now real bullrushers.

Actually, you need plain talent to rush the passer. The Donks don't have it. Neither do the Chiefs. We traded our rush to Minnesota.

How about Dre Bly for a backup fullback? I dont know, this defense just makes me sick.

You mean two things...don't forget special teams.

Wow, you guys sure give up on players quickly. Personally, I say we keep our best young defensive lineman and try to add some talent around him. I would like to see us target an impact player on defense in free agency next offseason. Albert Haynesworth and Ed Reed are free agents then, I think. Doom will be just fine, he is coming back from an injury and he doesn't have much talent around him to give him good matchups.
I don't think we give him Peppers or Freeney money, not at all. But I think he is a player that we keep

Never.
As was already stated he killed a woman while driving drunk, he then went out and drove drunk again. I don't give a **** if his roadsides were suppressed and he got off, dude killed someone and it still didn't make him change his behavior. He is the 1 player I absolutely never want to see on this team.
