Things are looking great so far.

That was a sportscenter caliber block on the punt return. Awesome.

Do you think Miami is back SoCal? The weak ACC should help that.

No not yet. I think they can go 8-4 and maybe even 9-3 this year, which would be solid, but we are still a year (and one more monster class) away from REALLY being back.

So much for "swagger". How patient will U fans be with Shannon?

That was a very painful way to lose given how we were ahead the whole game...but those are the lumps you take. Keep letting the young freshman studs get experience both at winning and also what it feels like to lose when you had it won.

That was a wild last play. The CB literally took it right out of the WR's hands.

Tough break guys.

Tough break guys.It was more of the ball just bouncing off the fingertips of Kayne Farquarson and into the hands of the UNC defender. Literally an inch away from being a game winning touchdown.

SoCal, the defense was so hyped after the UF game, but I haven't been too impressed the last two weeks. It's obvious the secondary is terrible. And we can't get a pass rush without blitzing.

This loss is frustrating because the ACC is so winnable this year. Now there is a slim chance of even getting to the ACC Championship game.

I am sold on Marve. It's nice to have a real quarterback for the first time since Dorsey (or maybe Berlin in '04). Robert should be allowed to throw downfield more instead of these stupid WR screens and all these other short passes that go nowhere.

I'll have to watch it again, since I just caught the Sportscenter clip.

OT: Haven't seen you around here much, you need to post more.

I like the look of the U's QB, even with the Michael Jackson type glove

I like the look of the U's QB, even with the Michael Jackson type gloveHe's going to be a good one. I just hope we get a play caller that lets him use his talent. Patrick Nix seems in over his head as Miami OC.

SoCal, we've now seen the Broncos go from Plummer to Cutler and the Canes from Kyle Wright/Kirby Freeman to Marve. They're both stunning upgrades.
