Oh i'm aware. And thanks Beantown...you bastard...

As for the topic, I could make an argument that the Raiders match up well against the Chargers. They have a rushing game that can control the clock and the Chargers have been weak against the run. They also have the corners and linebackers to slow down their passing attack. LT is back, but probably closer to 80%. Is it enough? Absolutely not, but it's certainly something to talk about.

they're a perfect match, how can you argue with that?

Actually a team with a good running game like the Raiders have a good shot at the Chargers if they can combine it with a few turnovers. Nobody has hit Rivers yet so if they get some early sacks they could get him throwing on his backfoot, this is when he gets in the most trouble. When he solidly plants on his left leg the guy is nails.

His footwork is why he is so much better this year so far than last year. Better mechanics and also he is stepping up into the pocket much more than last year when he would get in backpeddle mode when the pressure came.

With 4 of the next 5 on the road they need to come out of the black hole with a win and I got to say this game scares me a bit.

To save some time I will put in the customary response from the next poster

Rivers sucks!

The Faide couldnt even sniff Cutler in Week 1, and your oline with McNeil back looks great, so i doubt Jokeland has a chance. you also have the firepower to take advantage of Deangelo Fall and focus your attack on him.

The Faide cant throw the ball consistently well enough to win a shootout.

If Rivers can come out firing in the first quarter, Chugg win the game with ease.

and here it is...

wait for it....

Rivers sucks

I don't see why the Raiders can't beat the Chargers... They almost beat them last year and the Chargers are markedly worse since then.

There's no way the faid beat SD. I'm of the opinion that SD is hungry right now and they feel they need to prove something. I just don't see the faid even getting close in this game.

Why would I put money on the Raiders straight up when I could get points on a sportsbook? I'm not that dumb.

Well, Kaylor hasn't exactly told her yet, but he is sure she'll be pleased about it.

i bet anything Riggins has a thing against the broncos since TD broke all his playoff records without breaking a sweat.

Let's see, the 06 Raiders were 2-14 and the Diegos were 14-2. At SD that year the Diegos had to come back from a 14-7 deficit in the 4th quarter to win and if I remember correctly there was a controversial call that went against the Raiders in the fourth quarter of that game that could have led to a different outcome. That 06 Raiders team is worse than the 08 version and the Diegos are not the team they were in 06. So any given Sunday can happen. Also, I think that Kiffen is a better coach and that the Raiders players will play hard for him until he is fired.

Hey it could happen... but it won't... I hope it does just because the Raiders pose no threat to us even with an ok record when the Chargers do so yeah I won't say go Raiders. Maybe it will be a tie...
