In having 4 corners who are all physical bump and run corners if were never going to play bump and run man on man???

I mean am i the only one smart enough to recognize that we get pressure but its always a split second late??

Am i the only one who realize that if we bump and run we would be knocking wide outs off there routes breaking up the timing of the plays giving our DL an extra second to get to the QB that they clearly need??

Hmmmmm Looks like we play Arena Football as far as coverage goes by giving the wide outs 5-10 yards of gunning up the field going where ever they want to go.

Look at the times there getting beat there in that zone shyt playing way off...Still not making plays and its still not giving our DL extra time to get to the QB you dumb ass.

Bronco fans complain about not getting pressure but we dont do anything to help the DL.....

He had a couple magic seasons here in Denver but overall his career in washington was way better as far as shutting WRs down playing bump and run....

We have some athletic safeties who can run to the ball....Champ and the rest of them need to have there ass right in the WRs face pushing them around.

Free releases consistantly is just never going to get the job done and its starting to show.....Team are not throwing away from Champ anymore aslong as hes playing that far off, There going to hit him with slant after slant untill he bites on one and then gets beat over the top trying to defend "half the field"........Thats why when he gets beat its normally for a touchdown....

I'm not saying it's a good thing, but it is what it is. If you watch him during the game, lined up facing the QB, if he senses run, he will first break towards the LOS, and if it is play action, try and catch his receiver. Playing off his receiver gives him a better opportunity to do both. He is an excellant run stopping corner and his 70+ solo tackles shows that skill is needed on 'this' team.

Its just a load of bull****. Were not a bad team vs the run this year......We are a team thats going to have to do what we need to do to get pressure on the QB and that means re routing these Wideouts and getting physical with them....

If your corner is not good enough to realize when a WR is running a route or not then he should not be playing in the NFL....Wideouts are either gonna engage in the block early if its a run or not.....So if champ is jamming the guy and the WR is engaging in that shyt then hes physical enough to break off the block and stil chip in to make the tackle or atleast force the guy back inside.

I am going to have to disagree with you on this... Champ and Dre Bly are not bump and run corners... they are zone coverage corners. Their strength is being able to read what the offense is doing to do and react.

If you watch them.. they both tend to try and bait the QB into throwing in their direction. That is why they tend to play off the WR by 5 to 10 yards, because they can react and make up space… Champ does this better then Bly. And Champ is a better tackler as well.

However we continue to play soft zone coverages that has led to us being ranked 31st against the pass......Ooooooooookayyyyyyyyy.

Not really. When you play man to man, the check down isnt as automatic because the cushions arent automatic so it forces the QB into more accelerated decision making process. But the man on man is helped by blitzing to generate pressure in the absence of pass rush.

I have made the determination that CasinoRoyal is more trouble than he's worth for the single fact that he's made it abundantly clear that he hates Broncos fans (even going so far as stating as much). For the 5% of worthwhile football discussion he brings, the 95% of animosity and tumult he brings to every discussion he is a part of is not worth it. We have plenty of people here who have the ability to get their opinions out, be edgy, even show disdain for others WITHOUT hijacking every thread that they are a part of. I mean hell... I realize my opinion here carries a little less weight than many of the other posters. But I will say this:

I think that setting a precident for no more than Apa said about CRs child is a slippery slope. I certainly agree that there should be a line drawn at family. But the context of Apa's post in no way can be construed as an attack on any family member.

It's no different than someone popping off and saying they feel sorry for my wife having to put up with my crap. I would not be offended by such a statement as it is not an attack on my family, it's a shot at me. And that is exactly what Apa's statement was.

If he had said something to the effect, I'll bet your daughter grows up to be a hooker form lack of attention because you spend all your time pissing on our message board? Totally different senario. But but drawing the line where you have, you have undoubtedly set yourself up for any little comment that can be twisted to mean something that it wasn't intended to mean to warrant action. And on a BB, that's about 50% of everything posted.

I hate that Apa is banned. He said more than once what he meant by his statement. To be banned for something that is taken out of context and explained, is in my opinion unfair and unwarranted. And it sets a precident for unreasonable action in the future.

I would like to think that while you reconsider the value of CR and the justification of the severity of his ban, that you will also reconsider reeinstating Apa.

I respect your attention and integrity on the matter. Whatever your decision, I respect it.

With the compassion and family atmosphere that exists here, it makes this board unique. Yes, TJ handled the situation with class, by explaining what and why he took the action he did. I think that is why so many here are so fiercly loyal to him.

Hey, I agree 100% that TJ makes the rules and they need to be followed. However, to call this a 'family-friendly' forum is a little silly, don't you think? A 'mentioning someone elses family members is against the rules' board maybe, but not 'family friendly'.

"Family friendly" indicates a message board where family members (wives, children) could log on without their husbands or parents cringing. This is not that type of message board. The name calling and attacks that go on make this anything but a 'family friendly' message board. People calling each other assholes, asswipes, ****tards, just to name a few, make this message board anything but family friendly.

However, if the rule is not to mention another person's family, then that's the rule and people have to abide by them. I am all for people abiding by the rules, because I have to deal with people ignoring forum rules on a daily basis, so I understand that issue.

I also understand how difficult it is to make the call when things cross into the grey area, which in reality is what typically happens.

Some posters, myself included, feel that even given the "family members off limits" rule, that Apa didn't violate that rule, but ultimately it is TJ's call.

Family-safe? Whatever words you want to use. I've never seen anyone banned for calling someone else an ahole. (Within reason.) However, mention someone's wife, husband, kids... and Taco pulls the trigger.

I think the rule is great, I just don't think Apa broke it. It was a stretch to call that an attack on Casino's family. It's a shame the dip**** wasn't banned a week or two ago.

I guess I also feel partially responsible. While I think Casino is a punk, when he was banned from BroncosForums (the third or fourth time), when he was actually trying so hard to hide his true identity, that he was actually posting pretty good, that I suggested he come here, since lets face it, you guys allow pretty much anything (excepting mentioning a family member, apparently) to fly.

So, I figured this place would be a good fit for him. Even though he initially sade the Mane was lame, he started posting here, and after a few weeks of him pissing off 95% of the people, Apa says something that gets himself banned, on a real borderline (if at all) rules violation.

So, I'm feeling a little guilt, I guess.

I guess I will have to look at the rule. I usually don't, because I try and treat people with enough common courtesy that I don't need to worry about violating rules, but it's hard to imagine saying something like "I would have thought he would want to spend more time with his two year old daughter" is attacking his family. Especially, when CR talked about his wife's pussy and being horny and his daughter in crude ways.

Probably not an easy job, considering for whatever reason... this place seems to attract quite a lot of hit-and-run specialists.
