Another great moment from John McCain.
They should be forced to forfeit now.
"McCain supporter Sen. Lindsey Graham tells CNN the McCain campaign is proposing to the Presidential Debate Commission and the Obama camp that if there's no bailout deal by Friday, the first presidential debate should take the place of the VP debate, currently scheduled for next Thursday, October 2 in St. Louis."

Ha! There's the real target. I hope he tries this. Something this transparently cowardly will be sniffed out by the American people in a heartbeat. If you can't take the heat...
I hope they do this but even suggesting it may be enough. They are really in a panic. She must be a real piece of work. Ha ha

NO, NO, NO.... I want another Admiral Stockdale moment.
Ha! :yep:
I'm sure the writers for Leno, Letterman, and every other comedy show in America are salivating at the prospect of a veritable treasure trove of joke fodder that will keep on giving for years to come. ;)

Amazing. Palin must be absolutely hopeless if they're trying to get this done. Unbelievable.
And half the country will say, "Oh yeah, that's a great idea!"

Can we just cancel the gov't?
I just looked at my paycheck again like I do every two weeks and, like everytime, I look at how badly I'm getting gouged and I fully subscribe to your plan.

While I agree that having the debate on this Friday, if the bail out agreement hasn't been reached would be asinine, I also think it would be ludicrous to cancel the VP debate. The two don't have to be tied.
We need to see how Palin handles herself in a pressure situation and the debate is the closest we are going to get.
