I just got back from a 5 night hike and watched the Broncos game, so apologies for this late note. I could comment on the game and the atrocious defense, and the fact that we've won two games on freak occurances that we should have put to bed early... But I'm sure that stuff has already been covered...

I wanted to comment then on how much I loved seeing the team in the orange jerseys. They are all that I will personally buy. I like the blue jerseys alright, but I absolutely love the orange ones. It was awesome to see Cutler sporting it, not to mention the rest of the team.

We should go back to them permanently.

I agree, the retro orange should be worn once a year. If Sandy Eggo was allowed then why not us? If I recall correctly, the last time we wore those Mike Anderson ran all over the Cowboys in a Thanksgiving game.

Broncos colors are orange. The only Jersey I wear now during gamedays is a 1992 Shannon Sharpe Orange Jersey made by Champion. Sux that I had to go to Ebay to find it but oh well.

Does anyone know if they are gonna keep the orange alternate twice a year thingy?

I got into an argument with my wife about this. I tried to impress upon her the historical connection of the orange; The Orange Crush, Elway all those years in the Orange, the big D on the helmet... to which she replied, "I like the blue better." ROFL!

There was a time just a few years ago you couldn't buy an old Bronco hat with a D on it to save your life. Now the Broncos Marketing dept "finds" entire "families" who wear retro gear. I'm all for bringing back the orange as long as people don't start showing up to games dressed like a soda can. ;D

Our record in Orange has been pretty bad in recent history. I'm hoping the nailbiter seasons were our team exercising the Charger and Orange Jersey demons that have plagued us over the years. I like them. I have an Orange Champ Jersey. They are brighter and more fun. I still wish we'd ditch those stupid Nike swoosh pit stains on our arm pits, though.

I love the style of our jerseys, including the swoosh that runs from the thigh to the chest. It was ground breaking when they unveiled them in 1997. Now a lot of college teams have gone in similar directions. I think it really stands out in the NFL and certainly beats the regular ol' "straight line" down the side leg.

As far as the orange jerseys, they looked AWESOME on Sunday. The big difference between Sunday and the other two times we wore them is that the other games were at night. So if Shanahan is superstitious about the alternate uni's, let's only wear them for day games (because we are undefeated).

I like them all, I love all of our uniforms and would like to see them all mixed in. Here's what I'd like to see:

*Blue jersey/White pants for day games.
*Blue jersey/Blue pants for night games.
*Orange jersey for division games (including night).
*Throwback jerseys for one game a year - preferably Oakland or KC.

The only worthwhile petition is at the cash register. That's why I stopped buying all jerseys except the orange. I simply won't buy anything but the orange any more. :thumbs:

Navy Blue and Orange is the best colour combo in the league. I prefer the blues, but the alternate jerseys look great too.

Royal Blue is very much bleh.

Just throwing this out there, but I got my authentic Champ orange jersey in China (where they are produced) for $80 when I was there. I have purchase quit a few jerseys for friends and family thru him and as long as I purchase in quanties of five or more, he sells them to me for $80 which includes shipping to Minnesota, where I live. So if someone is interested, I would see if there is a way to work something out with them. The ones I can get are Champ, Cutler and Marshall in sizes 48-54 in all three colors (orange, blue and white). I think these jersey are $150+ so this is a good deal and if I can spread the Denver wealth, I will. They are brighter. Too bright in my opinion. I liked the ones they used on 2004 better, but hey it was still nice to see.

I thought they looked a lot more bright than the ones from 2004, but I thought my mind wa playing tricks on me...I prefer the 2004 version, but I mostly was just happy they were playing in orange again.

I like how the nike swoosh looks when the O is set.

And I much prefer the Blue tops and white pants.

If we go back to Orange we need to go back to the old Helmets. I don't thinl orange and the new helmets go.

I think our Orange Alt's look exactly like DUH BEar's alt orange.

I guess that is why I don't like them
