Anyone else notice? 4 linebackers: Niko, Winborn, Boss, DJ... 3 down linemen...

Almost every play is either 3-4 or 3-3-5 right now. Wow.

Whatever they are running sure is not working.

We've got enough good players in every level of our defense to be better than this. This stuff pisses me off.

Move to a 3 man front a couple of weeks into the season reeks of desperation on Slowik's part...

You guys remember the original Nintendo game called ICE HOCKEY? Where you could pick a team of really thin fast guys that would constantly fall over? thats what the D reminds me of

Gimmick defense at home. I smell desperation.

I sure do! I used to use the big slow goons and use the slap shot to score everytime--and yes, our defense is pretty worthless

This is ****ing retarded... Rich freakin' Gannon tore our D up a few years ago on MNF trying this same 3 man rush crap. Knock it off already...™

Yes. That was actually one of the best NES games. One of the all time great sports video games when taken in context. I rank it right up there with Tecmo Bowl.

Ice Hockey, Punch Out, and Tecmo Bowl formed the triumverate of sports video games during my youth.

Right..

Or it reeks of trying to get as many people in the secondary as possible to try and slow down a good passing attack?

I remember that game. You the DL remind me of the big slow fat guys, LB's the small fast guys, and the S's are the medium guys who aren't fast or slow.

I won't be concern until we go the Drop 10 and rush the 200 pound linebacker into O-line scheme.

Front 7 is marginal, no matter how you line 'em up. I feel the need for a lipstick on a pig reference...

Thanks for the refresh, just when I thought I had deleted that freak'n game from my memory bank. But yes, lets blow up the 3 man rush crap once and for all. All it translates to is plenty of time for the Qb to pick & choose the receiver in which to burn you with.
