I understand that they are inexplicably getting beat (my heart aches for them right now - ACHES!). But you would think the Patriots would have earned a little loyalty. The 4th Quarter just started.

Really, though - this is just a gratuitous justification for starting a thread about THE PATRIOTS GETTING POUNDED, AT HOME, BY THE DOLPHINS! Ha!

I'd say his window of opportunity has closed.

That guy was actually pretty funny. And this whole situation is pretty funny - a few of my friends who are Pats fans won't even answer my calls.

I did get one text message, consisting of a very well thought out "**** off" though.Hilarious!

I told guys at work that NEs 12 point spread was too high. You have a back up QB, a divisional game, and an improved Dolphin team. I didnt expect this big of a win, in fact, I really didnt expect a win per se, but that 12 points was a little outrageous. I love the early season when the oddsmakers are still calibrating what teams are. Last week, I called the Bills-Jags game. The Bills opened as a 7 point dog but Jax plays a lot of 17-14 games. A seven point spread is almost half of that. Plus Buffalo's good.

I thought Billy was such a great coach that he could win without Brady guess not.

Guess this is what happens when a team identity is one person. Brady is a great QB but he didn't win those games by himself. The rest of the team needs to find themselves and acknowledge their part in all those wins. Maybe then they will be the Pats again, and not just Tom Brady and the patriots.

Reality check Pats!!! 38 - 13 against MIA.

If there were an example of a bandwagon fanbase ( it would be the pats fans)

Man, I dont know about all this... Dont get me wrong, pile on the Pats all you want.

However, we have a pretty loyal fan base and the fans were filing out last year when we get crushed at home by a div rival (SD).

KC fans (again, a loyal fan base) filed out when their team get crunched at home.

A crushing home defeat sends the fans home early pretty much regardless of the home teams identity, track record, etc.
