Is it just me or are you guys finding yourselves with some new superstitions since we have been on this win streak.
Since I bought the Meck 77 jersey we haven't lost a game. I haven't washed the shirt underneath it that I wear.. I had to freshen it up in the dryer before the Colts game.
I have a whole list of other things I'm finding myself doing now week after week. Am I sick? I can't be the only one doing weird things.

Also, the eddie jersey seems to be the lucky charm--Last time I wore the CP jersey was the bears game.
Oh yeh, and I make sure to shave on Sundays before the games. That's why we got there later than we were gonna--I had to shave! lol

I got in an argument the other night after the Colts game, with another "Bronco fan" that said they would go "one & done". I know this will be the same person jumping on the "I knew we could do it the whole time" bandwagon after the SB.

I'm not "counting my horses" yet...but there does need to be some fan-confidence. I had sooo many arguments with people claiming to be Bronco Fans, stating that we shouldn't have wasted our time getting on the plane to Indy without a healthy/playing CP. I'm trying not to look TOO far ahead, but at the same time, you kinda have to have confidence in the team. You have to keep in mind you have to set a goal higher than you plan to achieve, so that if you don't happen to make it, you still have done a lot more than others wanted to give you credit for.

That's where I got my nephew a Jake the Snake jersey for Christmas. Brand new, still has tags on it--12 dollars (17 including shipping).
Check with your friends too--anybody who has a friend, family member, etc who is stationed in Korea? Can get them custom made over there for about 20 bucks each--it's where I got my CP jersey last pre-season & where Robb is eventually going to be getting his Lelie jersey.

I do, somewhere, have an AOL account that they apparantly keep charging me for, despite my having cancelled it several times. It's starting to irk me! I pissed aol off one time by signing up & keeping an account for record time of 10 minutes---8 minutes to download a different (free at the time) ISP & 2 minutes on hold!

I think the guy that cancelled my account ended up stalking me for a while--he was pissed that I didn't get him his 50$ bonus (yes, they do get 50$ for every person they get to stay on for an additional 3 months) and he lived right down the street from my parents (where my bills were to be sent)...
Yeah they called me once a week or so for months trying to get me back.....Also to remind me my SNs and e-mail account would be saved for a year.......I finally unloaded on a guy and they quit calling.......;D

Cause thats llike old skool. Ahem....I know people that used that program to hack into AOL for free when it was 2.95 an HOUR to use the internet back then.

I have friends from Illinois coming sometime in January too.......They own a Drum Store and come out to LA every Jan for some big trade show-convention...Since we're herte they're flying into Vegas,spend a few days,drive to LA,come back for a couple days and fly home from here.....I'm not sure about those dates either but I'm thinking he said 2nd week of Jan...

True story here. As you know Desmond is from Jamaica and goat is one of the main food sources for food as it is in many 3rd world countries. Everytime he comes over he says........"Hey mon how are de goats" and we joke about cooking one of them up.

I mean, before it's release date...several months before it's release date, don't remember how long I had it for, but I would always confuse people when I would call up tech support because they screwed up my DSL (gotta love qwest) and they'd say what OS do you have? I'd say "ummm XP" they'd say "I don't know how to help you then". I was like, just test the damn line, I don't need your stinkin' help, just figure out why I'm not getting any signals... "ohh duh, cuz we forgot to turn it on when we mailed out your modem 2 weeks ago. Uhhh duhh...uhhh we're stupid"

Hmm are we playing NE again next year? I just made myself some Christmas Eve lunch and I'm thinking this might be a good thing for a patsy tailgate as a side dish in a crock pot.
1 Can of Progesso New England Clam Chowder. This stuff is good all by itself.
Added leftover premium bacon that I minced then heated in the soup.
Topped with a huge pile of Colby Jack cheese, genorous poor of Tabascco sauce, then the juice of 1/3 of a lime.
Wow. Seriously tasty!

I used to have dreams when I was a kid that I was floating. Still laying down, still sleeping, just several feet up. When I'd wake up, it felt like I was falling and would CRASH down. Never could decide if the bed was floating w/ me or not.
Had a dream discussion w/ one of the more off the wall women I've met years ago. She says I was levitating. Said I should study the "black arts" because I had potential there.
She was a fruit, I admit. But at the time, that was a very intriguing idea.

I went to school up in boulder I know so many people who actually really really beleave in that stuff.
Not knocking it just in case some of them were scary cute but scary. Just have as much faith in that as I do in the churches getting religion right. Heck people cant even fallow step by step directions for hooking up DSL
Having faith in anything other than what's right in front of me is the main reason I never got into wicca or paganism and whatnot. The whole "higher power" thing escapes me. That, and the fact that Hollywood has tainted it so. You never know if you're talking to people that are really knowledgable about the stuff, or the ones that worship Ann Rice and every magic/witchcraft related movie/tv show.
It's kinda like trying to separate the religious pushers who genuinely want to do good from the ones who just want your money or the other perks claiming to be "a child of god" gets you. More trouble than it's worth, IMO.
