I was talking to a buddy of mine at work and we both remarked how low ranked playoff to non-playoff teams from 07 are starting strong and the top teams are showing signs of weakness.

Moving up...
Denver: 2-0
Buffalo: 2-0
Tennessee: 2-0
NY Jets: 1-1

Sliding down?
New England: 2-0 (but no Brady)
Indy: 1-1 (Barely)
Jacksonville: 0-2
San Diego: 0-2

So from these four improvers and four decliners (at least through the first two games) Who misses the playoffs, and who makes the playoffs? This will be the thread for the decliners.

I think Jacksonville is in quite a bit of trouble at this point.

The Pats didn't go 18-1 just because of Tom Brady. They'll see the playoffs again. Indy will be there too.

Too soon to tell for the Chargers. They could easily lose 4 more games, and 10-6 might not be good enough.

They all are, though I think of all of them, the Chargers have enough left to keep it together.

Cahrgers make the playoffs and can still win this division. Colts are hurting and looking beatable but they get to play the Browns and Cinci twice.

I dont think Indy is going to make it. Not with their injuries and to add some insult on top of that Bob Sanders is out 4-6 weeks possibly more. I just dont think Indy will round out intime to make it.

Chargers lost two last-second ball games to start the season. They won't do that all season. I honestly don't know what's going on with Jacksonville. The Jaguars would be my pick. Indy and New England should be fine. Matt Cassell is a decent quarterback. He just had the misfortune to be behind Tom Brady on the depth chart...

Jags have some serious injury issues! Dolts have an easier schedule and will rebound! Pats, well they are 2-0..Colts have done this before!

Jags have no one to block for Garrard nor the running backs, kind of makes it hard to score that way.

Definitely Jacksonville.

Unless their o-line miraculously comes together, I see them ending up with a losing record.

I'm not disputing your opinion of Cassel, but how in the world did you form it already? I've only seen about 3 minutes of highlight footage of him...last week was his first NFL start...no college starts...did you watch him in high school?
